That was more of a case of thinking I had a gotcha and then realizing I didn't. Chris has been kind of contradictory in general this game though

Nah, I think you and Death are easily my top two choices for people I want to spend the night with. So I'm happy to stay with you. I do think town should be flexible though with pairings, and not adopt an idea of just locking in. I appreciate Lopen for setting up a swap, but he did have a couple of people saying they'd be okay with dating him at that point, so I don't think he was under any super risk.

I'm awake and at the office, but things are looking slammed so my ability to keep up for the next 8 hours will be limited.

Still hoping Chris or Ulti will come through for me.

Otherwise I'm warming up to the idea of being the kind of date Corrik is looking for tonight. We could Netflix and chill, or just chill

I do think Sultan being comfortable in his MZero date despite quite literally admitting it was a joke date from the setup topic I itially is maybe a little telling that he's nervous about not getting a date if he and MZero were to break up. But to be completely fair, Sultan could probably say a similar thing about me. :P I still think there's a chance of Peaf and I going separate ways, but I'll admit I'm uncomfortable breaking up without arranging other plans beforehand!

Initially yes but I do like why Mzero wants to stay paired. I have said a few times during the day I'd consider jumping around. Unless something changes between now and eod I don't really see a reason too.

Death has a date already extended to Chris IIRC, so right now Kirby is the one slated to die if nothing changes. We have the power to shake things up if we want!

Like I said, we're very unlikely to hit scum today, so I'd rather ensure town is set up to do well in the coming days. I'd rather explore as many avenues as we can today and force people to make decisions than to just pair up and live out the rest of the day in peace. We get info from people committing to decisions.

Maybe? I don't think it's something I do often, but I doubt I've never done it before. I don't really remember what my tactics have been in previous games, honestly, but I hate when nothing happens or when days get bogged down with posts that feel like people losing their heads over nothing.

But really, I just missed Ulti and wanted to see what would happen if I threw shade at him out of left field. In hindsight, it never crossed my mind that he could've just been, you know, busy with work like any regular person. But I got info out of it, so it was worth it.

Lopen, Ulti, and FD are town as far as I'm concerned for today. Maybe Corrik as well.

I don't really know who is scum just yet, but I'm still okay with letting Red die, and I'm sad Ulti just can't let him go.

And how do you feel about Ulti now?

I guess I'm so not understanding our break up. I town read you, you town read me, we didn't rush to pair up like the first 3 pairs, we didn't idle/coast after pairing. You just listened to Lopen for "reasons"?

I can kinda see it as vanilla nonchalance, but part of me sees it as leading by example to try to start a cascading pattern of breakups?

But I don't know if that's more likely beneficial as town or scum to kick off.

I'm a bit weirded out by Corrik's approach here and unsure how to read into it. Don't really like that he pressured Kirby into claiming but I'm doubtful he claims himself. I think Kirby's town based off his behavior and claim so far.

I don't have a strong read on you currently and I have a lot of paranoia this game about being personally responsible for scum surviving. But I'm reaching the point where self preservation is starting to override that worry.

If it helps, we dont have to date this hour. It just means that if you accept any later, you cant undate me unless I allow it or vice versa.

What is weird to me about Corrik is i really thought part of his "I'm ok with not getting a match d1" was coming from a place of not wanting there to be any claims or end of day shenanigans for scum to take advantage of.
And then he pushed Kirby to claim.

Kirby... i can see that progression of events coming from a town pov more than i can see coming from a scum pov. Ulti, you had a really strong scum read tlof Kirby but also didn't seem to follow the order of events that led to him and fd being broken up. What are your thoughts now?
