I went to college and eventually got a PhD and now work as a research professor in Japan. He joined the Navy and became a nuclear technician on submarine and is now working for a Japanese company that makes essential parts for semiconductor manufacturing. He never even got an undergrad degree, but he makes four times more than I do.
