Also I'm reluctant to give 2018 such overwhelming credit considering our vote totals were in such a sorry state that Allen made registered users' votes count twice to artificially inflate the numbers.

I just don't rate it on the same level as the glory days.

And I dont know. Comparing 2018 to peak votals is a bit unfair, it was still a lot of votes, still a great contest and the most recent with no reason to think things have changed.

If it's tens plural, it's just barely.

And maybe Zelda still has the same run with normal vote totals, but those matches were so close that there's no way to tell. I don't know how cutting our vote totals by 3/4 wouldn't impact character strength to some degree.

It still lists who made the match pics on the results link here and in the order they were given. You could figure it out by looking up what pic number it had on creative's match pics archive.

Looks like Biolizard made the second one.

Actually, it seems the names from 2007 have been lost on the results page.

Feeling old. I forgot we had a contest in 2018. And a games contest in 2015.

These four didn't miss any contests they were eligible for. I think the only other non-noble 9ers that can say that are Tidus, Alucard and Gordon Freeman. They even made the rivalry rumble! So it's down to 7. Gordon Freeman never wins, so it's down to 6. Can't include two final fantasy characters, so that eliminates Tidus but locks Squall in. And I think Alucard's PLAN clearly puts him in. Honestly I think it's true to board 8 fashion for the dum pink ball to beat out Dante.
