Also, two reasons why L-Block can make the mountain but Draven can't (opinion-zone):

1) L-Block was first and won at a much bigger moment for the site.

2) L-Block was still legit post-championship and even began 2008 stronger than it began 2007. Draven was not. Here's a comparison of their first matches after previously winning it all.

Win a contest then lose in the first round? And lose this hard? Naw. Draven will never be respected again -- even while knowing LoL-fans could still theoretically rally to another championship. Draven was such a a villain that I nearly nominated Amaterasu for beating a former champion the hardest
we've ever seen, in Draven's big return, to the point that it was cathartic for the board.

I mean, if it has be round 2 then nothing beats it including jokes. If it doesn't have to be round 2 a decent amount of non-jokes beat it. Still, heavy rallied and the format kinda ruins it for me as being that big a deal. It also just sabotaged Squall 's chances of going deep to instead give us yet another darn Pokemon character doing.
