There were two changes in the patch. 1) Tifa's was given a black undershirt in the Remake flashback to match the one in the Rebirth flashback. 2) Aerith's final line was changed from "I miss it. The steel sky..." to "This sky, I don't like it". Nobody who matters cares about the first one. The second one is offensive and I will never forgive them. I'm only at the Chocobo Ranch, but cool stuff is already peppered in. Story differences, new character scenes, the vistas are just cool and big. I'm amped for this. Better yet, other than the Flashback, Kalm took only about a half hour or so. No super sized Midgar bullshit this time. Only Junon should get that treatment. The story side content is kinda distracting though.
