I've got my problems with this and SE but if nothing else, making this in to one single game would likely have bankrupted them in the current climate.

Also woulda been like 9 discs and fuck all that noise

One that isnt evil because no one is being brainwashed. Two there is no actual proof they could fit all three games into one if Remake was already packed full of content and Rebirth has much more to it.

The worth of content is determined by the player. More isn't always more to some, while it is to others. Most of the side content is pretty tedious and pointless to me, as well... And I absolutely hate the slow walk segments.

And yet it doesnt negate the fact that content is still content and expanding on original ideas is still an object thing here.

Content for the sake of content is utterly worthless though, and is by definition "padding." Been that way for a long time.

Yeah, that's true. For me it was different. I really liked most of the extra stuff or "padding" except for a couple things. Namely, the bike sections went on a bit too long and the forced sidetrack through the sewers for the second time. Did have a few too many slow walk/sidling areas and some of the sidequests bored me.

Yeah, the sidequests where you find a bunch of cats or whatever aren't the best, but it's just absolutely absurd to call all of it padding. The expansion of Wall Market's storyline was great fun. I mentioned the fleshing out of the Turks already. And I barely remembered Wedge, Jesse, and Biggs in the original, but I loved all three of them in Remake.

Well.

I loved Jesse and Biggs. Wedge was a bit too much of a fat joke for my tastes.

I finished the game and got a 92 hour playtime. I feel I got my money's worth out of it.

I'm ok with it as in I'll wait until they make it a compilation and charge way less in the next generation. Lol no way am I buying it the way they release it
