Their burgers are average and their fries are above average. I'm an intelligent person with an IQ of 69 but I honestly am baffled on why people treat In N Out like god tier food when it's average at the absolute best. Plus their wrappers stick to the burgers and it's really annoying that I gotta try to peel off the wrappers off the burgers. That was the last straw for me after peeling off the wrappers from the burgers 10 different times

You're forgetting that its less expensive than like 90% of the other food places in California, and most people go there because its a good deal

I gotta admit they shit out food really fast and get customers In N Out fast. That's probably the only good thing about them. Used to be their cheap price but they raised the price at least where I am now it's almost the same price as other fast food

honestly the wrapper thing is my only complaint, i think the utility of in-n-out is that it is ALWAYS fresh and so it tastes good always

In N Out is only good for its Animal-Style burger. If you don't order that specifically, then it's all mid-.

Nah Whataburger is definitely above average ... at making the greasiest fuckin' burgers ever. Swear you can feel your arteries clogging as you eat it.

Disagree. Considering what you pay for, it's worth it. It's consistent. It's cheap. And it's good.

Real talk though, Super Duper Burger is where it's at. I'm surprised they have chains here in Korea.

Did you know the number 69 is banned at In-N-Out, they call out 68 and then go straight to 70, that a Christian family owned family for you, no freedom of speech.

I think it totally sucked but it's just fast food

I'm from the East Coast and felt like it lived up to the hype. I'd still say Cook Out is better though for the amount of side options and the shakes.

Ok, I'll take your word for it since they refuse to open any near me anyway.

I don't like it that much. The regular is better. But well done animal style fries are the best.

I agree. I'm not from Cali and part of the problem is that it's so hyped up, so when I finally had it a year ago, it couldn't match up to expectations. The burger is very solid, but I prefer Shake Shack because it has more of a crust. I know it's hard to compare since that's like 3 times the price, but still. The fries are also ass. Last time I went I got double well done fries and they were decent at least. The consistency of the long snaking lines always blows my mind, but at least they have a good system for it.

I'll definately admit people overhyping a place does ruin it sometimes. My friends were overhyping Chik Fila that when I finally ate it I was like "yeah it's alright" angering my friends. I even tried it with the polynesian sauce and it was still alright. Still a good bang for your buck, but In N Out still wins in terms of that department. The reason In n Out are able to keep their prices as low as they can because they're keeping it close to cost price, but they get soo many orders that it always leads them going in the green.

For the price it's unbeatable. Most the time when people say they like another burger better that burger usually costs twice as much. Plus it's healthier than most other fast food places which is nice.

Had it when I was out there a few years back. Burger was good, really liked the fries.

For the price Ive always been a fan of checkers.

I can't wait to try it when we go to LA in May for a cruise. We are getting there a day early so I'm going to make a point to find one near the cruise terminal in Long Beach.

We DO have Culver's where I live and I've heard In-N-Out is comparable in quality, so I'm not going to have unrealistic expectations but I just want to try it for the first time.

In n out is great within its context. That context being its competition. McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys. It blows all of those options out of the water for a similar price point. Is it the best burger in the world? No, obviously not. But its a damn good cheap fast food burger. Im more confused by Whataburger hype. That shit is mediocre as hell.

In-N-Out's competition would be more like Five Guys because that's what people compare it to mostly.
