I think most of my shirts are L but I could probably swing an M.

I would wear an L if not for a bunch of loose skin around my belly. XL hides it well but also hides my shoulders, which look way better in an L. Can't win =\

I was in XXXL. Then I went XXL, and now I am between XXL and XL. So I voted for XL.

I wear 2XL for most of my shirts. For a few brands I need 3X. I need to get back on top of my weight loss. In 2022 I had lost 60 pounds, but I stopped and went back up about 15 pounds in 2023. My goal is to get down to a L.

I need XL just for the length. Being a skinny 6'1" guy means nothing really fits well on me.

Honestly most of my shirts are 4XL. It isn't that I'm THAT big. I just like big, baggy, comfortable clothes. I'm 6'2" and 237 pounds. Even when I was in high school as a teenager before the military and was a slim 197 pounds I wore XL or 2XL back then.

I can go with a smaller size if they have a Tall version but I found even as a teenager that just a large or XL often would fit just fine but be too short and didn't fit right. I don't like it when I lift my arms and some short shirt lifts halfway up my torso. So I opt for the big baggy sizes that are nice and long.

You should shop at big & tall stores like DXL or Johnny Bigg. You can get shirts that are long enough for you without needing them to be extremely baggy.

If it's a name/quality brand I usually fit into a medium and cheap graphic Ts are sometimes a large. Hoodies, dress shirts and etc are usually a medium.

I wish medium tall was easier to find. Large tall look too baggy

I actually like baggy clothes though. Also I like shopping in person and I live in a rural farm state of the Midwest. Around here you buy clothes at the farm store and the big and tall stuff is Carhartt clothing haha. They don't have anything like those other stores I have never heard of.

Fair enough. I only recommended it because from what you described, it sounded like you tried to wear smaller shirts, but they were just too short for you. But if you just like the size, then nothing wrong with that.

S for sure is a better fit at first but if I leave them in the dryer they become too short for my torso. So I get M instead and put them in the dryer.

They are kinda baggy tho but whatever

I still voted S cuz I should be leaving shirts outside on a line but that takes too long

XL if LT is not available
Tall size shirts range from perfect to slightly too long for me (6'1"), but are the only non-tailored ones I can get with long enough sleeves
I suspect MT would fit best but as Will_VIII notes it is a rare size. M is just too short in length and in the shoulders
