I'm gonna assume that the remaining Xbox audience don't want to primarily play on PC. Otherwise they'd already be doing so. But yes it will snowball. They're obviously not going to get Playstation first party games. Those Halo, Gears and Forza die hards may decide to shift to Playstation if those games end up on there. Rumors are also pointing that it will be a digital only console soon. So anyone who values physical games (and note that one of the ways they gained momentum with the Xbox One was their backwards compatibility program) will also leave to Playstation. Xbox is currently spotty with Japanese game and indie game support. If hardware sales continue to dwindle not only will that not improve it'll get worse. Then other developers and publishers may also leave and stick with Playstation. Playstation can continue to bury them with more timed exclusivity deals to really finish the job. If Game Pass subscriptions dwindle due to the above then chances are they have less money to get content too. Which will also lead to less subscribers. One day the secrets to total immersion vr will be unlocked and I firmly believe that once it happens it'll be on machines too expensive for home use.
