Millennium War Aigis, global died in like 2017. Theres a translated manga, if you care.

I played it for a bit in JP and dropped it around the 4th or so anniversary, when the main story at the time had concluded.

Now its somehow on its 10th anniversary and still kicking, so Im casually getting back into it and seeing how fucked the balance is these days.

Also, does anyone know what happened with the game? It was out like 3 years ago under the name Samurai Blade: Yokai Hunting, but now its Cat & Knights: Samurai Blade

Okay, odd thing about that Cat & Knights game. So its an auto battler, and the characters will of course run towards the enemies until theyre in range before they attack. Thats normal. But whats weird is that my tank, Nyx, is unusually fast. Like she usually wipes out the first two waves of enemies by herself. The first wave gets killed by her AoE skill and the rest of the team just whiffs their skill, then Nyx runs ahead and kills the next wave with her skill again before any of her teammates can even get close.

This is what I mean lol. There are three more characters that are off screen, Nyx is so fast.

Went from Chainsaw Man, to Nier Automata, and now this.

Man, I'm disappointed in Cat & Knights. The new character, Rosalia, is part of an event called Necromancer of the Cult. I figured "Oh neat, I rarely see necromancers in games with automatic battles". But then I try her out in the in-game testing... She's just a nun who swings around a coffin like Goldlewis in Guilty Gear. She's a dodge tank with absolutely no necromancy stuff like summoning corpses or skeletons or whatnot. Just slamming a coffin on people :<

Also this fishing side event is complete ass and is tempting me to drop the game. You get fishing hooks by completing daily tasks, which is easy enough. But then when you use them, you have to wait a certain amount of time to catch a fish. I did 4 so far and have seen between 34 minutes to 1 1/2 hours of wait, which got me between 5 and 20 coins per fish. You can open up 2 more fishing rods so you can fish simultaneously, but one costs 1,250 coins while the other is 1,000 gems. And the gem output isnt very good in this game :<

The only game that successfully combined the concept of cats and knights in my book was Cat Quest. Short but sweet. So many cat puns.

I've been playing this as well despite it being your typical cash crab style of idle game. I finally pulled a dark unit after endless worthless 5* pulls.

I had a scare when I started the game because at first I thought the developer was Boltrend, but its Boltray, who hasnt done anything bad to me yet. Boltrend, netmarble, Moonton, and EA are four devs that Ill never play games from ever again :<

Yeah that's the problem. A lot of asian countries have these bizarre controversies that nowadays get translated to fairly sufficient levels of understanding overseas. There are misinformation and whatnot being spread around, and even some aspects are less emphasized than they should be. Like with the Korean misogyny. I cannot understate how much worse those situations were than it was stated in various forums.

I think by this point, there's a pretty good understanding of why the CN perception of GFL as a series is so bad now. It's because they played around with common CN romance tropes and twisted it, which people took it to mean that the girls are somehow estranged from the self-insert.

We understand it and think it's probably even stupider than they think we think it is. That's the problem that they don't understand

I just started Reverse Collapse today and I'm having fun with it. I'm surprised at how hot it makes my laptop though, given that it's not a particularly graphic-heavy game lol. I didn't think I would need to use my fan platform thingy, but just playing for about 45 minutes makes my computer so hot, it causes significant pain if I touch it D:
