Usually when I'm watching youtube on my old kindle that doesn't have an adblocker I just get the same stupid local ad over and over and over and over again. Fortunately, their anti-adblock campaign seems to have ended the same way all such campaigns end, with me having had to wait maybe an hour before ublock updated because I was unlucky enough to catch one of the longer periods during which Youtube was winning the fight. --- This is my signature. Not sure if it works on my Smart TV outside of that as I haven't tried it. Maybe that's something for you to look into. It's marginally more complicated in that you might have to manually update uBlock, and there has been at least one period where Youtube was ahead of uBlock for a couple hours, but otherwise it's business as usual. Open your uBlock dashboard (the gears in the lower right), go to the Filter Lists tab, click "Purge all caches," then click "Update now." That should get things working for you again. If it doesn't, try again in a couple hours once they've had a chance to catch up. --- This is my signature. It seemed like ads were more frequent, so I was mainly asking people that don't use adblockers or like me use something that can't use adblockers. Everyone else is sharing adblocker info, so I can't really comment on it, since it doesn't apply to me. If you can use IPv6, the addresses are 2a10:50c0::ad1:ff and 2a10:50c0::ad2:ff. You can enter these settings into your computer or you can protect your entire network by adding them to your router. If you have an Android device you can go into the Private DNS settings and enter dns.adguard-dns.com This will allow you to block ads even over cellular where you usually can't change your DNS settings.
