Like when you get a real chicken when, you have 3 parts. The drum , the flat and the tip. That is a wing. But when you go to the story. A wing is just a drum or flat. How the hell did that happen.

Or worse, just the flat and tip. I see it more often than tipless wings.

When I make chicken wings I cut them in two sections. The full thing is too much and doesn't cook as well

If I'm paying by the pound, I want them broken down for me. I don't eat the tips, so I don't want to pay for them.

The food here is terrible. My steak was so tough it attacked my coffee and the coffee was too weak to defend itself.

Better question is why do we call the calves of chicken legs when the thigh is part of the leg too?

Why would anyone care about this when restaurants are calling chicken nuggets boneless "wings"?

There's only one place that I know of that serves the entire wing, and that's Pennsylvania.

Should have both drum & flat to count as 1 wing. The tip is optional, IMO.

I've seen some serious smoke over restaurants counting what is a section of the wing as a whole wing. I'm not talking about smoke from the kitchen either.
