Yeah the thing for a medium pizza with 2 toppings for 8 bucks or so is great. Almost all deals are less of a good value usually.

Whenever they run the 50% off promotion, I like to get the Pacific Veggie special pizza (except trading onions for pineapple...then it's perfect). Ends up costing like $10-$11 w/ tax

I assume at 50% off, they're basically making close to $0 but not losing money, either.
I don't know how they could keep doing it if each time actually cost them money.

As others said, for already cheaper options like 2 topping medium, the usual coupons are a better deal, it's only on the pizzas w/ shit loads of toppings where it's a bargain, and those are probably marked up a lot at "menu price"

Got it tonight. Way less toppings than usual for a specialty pizza w/ like 10 toppings, easily 1/3 as much as usual. Like...multiple full square inches on the pizza pie w/o any toppings at all.

for chain pizza here, there is FreshSlice, Dominos, Panago, and Papa John

FreshSlice is cheap but not great.

Dominos is fine.

Panago is slightly worse than Dominos and usually about 30% more expensive though.

Papa Johns is okay, but costs almost double Dominos

EDIT: there are some local places that have amazing pizza but they also tend to be expensive.

Dominoes used to be good when they were doing all that "we used totally suck but now we're trying again" type promo 10 years back.
