yeah prob most people just get both at the same time. Is there any drawback to that?

Never got a flu shot, not really interested.

I got my initial two shots and my first booster. I might get this one but not really in a hurry to do so, it basically ruins my weekend every time cause I generally get pretty sick from them

I will likely get a flu shot this year

I need to book a doctor appointment to go over some blood work, and I plan to get a flu shot and covid shot while I'm there.

Got both (Covid + Flu shots) last week. Only side effect was arm pain for the next day and a half or so.

Of course not unless I had a death wish. Everyone has a right of what to put in their body or not put in their body.

Last time I got both at the same time and felt pretty dumpy the next day. Not really a big deal though and just luck of the draw. Never had that reaction before.

You're significantly more likely to be killed driving to get the shot (or any other drive of comparable distance) than by the shot itself.

I expect the difference is actually more pronounced than that. Covid reporting has drastically fallen off pretty much everywhere, so there have likely been quite a few unreported deaths.

I agree. That aligns with mortality rates being above average in some countries like the USA. People like "Dr." John Cambpell spin these excess deaths as related to vaccines while ignoring all other factors. Even if one believed this fallacy, it would be extremely ignorant to suggest only one cause.

Ikr, how dare the government not allow me to infect myself (and everyone else) with smallpox or polio. Ban all vaccines! Make plagues great again! God wants everyone to suffer, who are we to defy his will?

I'll probably get it and the flu shot with my allergy shots at some point.

Only on gamefaqs people still live in the bubble that this 'vaccine' is effective and necessary.

and how many of the total deaths were reported falsely?
having it, and dying from it are two different things

Just got it this afternoon.

And I got my flu shot and first shingles shot a couple weeks ago.

If my work gives me a free day off for it again sure. Otherwise no.

• I already got four shots.
• I avoid crowded places.
• I wear a mask when I can't avoid crowds.
• I rarely leave the house.
• Statistics show diminishing returns with each subsequent shots.
• I no longer live with someone who is at a high risk.
• Starting with my second shot, I get sick the day following the shot.

I don't think it's worth it right now, but that could change in the future. If you're wondering about my last point, I just feel weak for a whole day. It's caused by the immune system properly reacting to the vaccine. It means the vaccine is working.

This isn't necessarily relevant. Different vaccines require different numbers of doses to reach full effectiveness, including periodic boosters in some cases. I've had way more than 4 flu shots in my life, but I still get one if I get around to it each year. I recently had another tetanus booster, which is #5 or 6 (there are several scattered among the infant/toddler immunization schedule, then I've had one every 10ish years since). I probably won't get another hep B shot, though, since the 3 I got are the full course (as far as I know). It varies from shot to shot, and for something as new as Covid in particular, I expect it to be several years before we settle on a "best" approach.

I have not received any message stating I am eligible, I am also not part of an "at risk" group. So I would have to check if I am even allowed to get it.

I don't think they are doing that for the current round. I don't think they even did that for the last booster, outside of the initial round when there were shortages it has pretty much been "If you want it you can have it." In the US at least, can't say how the rest of the world is handling it.

Got the Covid shot the other week, will be getting the Flu shot in a couple of weeks, but I work for the NHS so its heavily recommended to get both (and free).

Nope. Had two shots and that was it. Unless I absolutely must get a new shot (work or travel) then I don't care.
