Lets say Chris is actually town. This is a plausible scenario:

Peaf, Dumey and MZero are scum. Dumey neighbored me to find out who the 3rd man was. Got that info, Dumey neighbored Chris to find out who got the vests. Lopen moved off sultan because MZero is the scum who killed red and Lopen didnt want the collateral damage of Mzero dying.

And things just fell right into place for me with the rb claim, and i knew that death would target me n2 to confirm that I'm Untargetable, and we agreed to bus lopen for basically no reason, and I pushed to extend day 3 out by pushing back against people who wanted to end it early, and we chose to no kill at least one night, and town ctes chose to be entirely unhelpful today about anything.

Bro. If that were the case we would have happily hammered and ended day early last night just like we have the last two game days.

You're giving me and lopen a run for our money with the "town who thinks of the most wacky scenarios and runs with them." You're reminding me of how out there I got during Mario.

Also explains why peaf and Dumey are so committed to voting ctes. Ctes is a red herring that delays resolving Chris/mzero.

I've said that I want chris dead too! I honestly thought about switching over to hammer it earlier today, but then reconsidered because that would be a little rude to do before most players wake up. We had no posts from ctes while we were asleep. He is caught scum looking to avoid saying anything else.

I agree its quite unlikely but this stuff needs to be said in case Chris flips town. For n1 there was no claimed town power other than red if memory serves, so rb would just be a shot in the dark. Scum knew they were using a strongman so there was no reason to rb red. Lets not act like its impossible, just really unlikely. as I said didnt have to be a no kill either

I realize I seem like a raving lunatic and perhaps I am lol. I know peaf said it was for irl reasons and I believe him but how upset he was after the second no kill still rings alarm bells for me. I once said if Dumey is scum then gg scum you earned it and when sharing suspicion I had on Dumey, peaf repeated what I had said (if Dumey is scum then gg scum).

1 - I hadnt claimed watcher yet and 2 - if there was a watcher why would they watch anyone other than the cop? Im not over here saying Id bet money on the mzero/peaf/Dumey scum team but its perfectly viable if Chris flips town.

Im not even going to be surprised if Chris flips town, I just think its the better strategic lynch over ctes.

You hadn't claimed tracker. Scum has no idea what kind of power roles might be in play n1, so taking a risk on something like that would be silly. If a tracker came out and said "hang on i didn't see lopen go to peaf" then it totally falls apart.

I think it's fine to think outside the box, but this is the definition of scum avoiding the topic to let town implode. Ulti still hasn't even posted in this topic and we're on page 7. Ctes has stopped trying altogether.

I meant to say hadn't claimed watcher, and used tracker as an alternative example. Basically, scum throwing one of their strongest abilities out the window n1 for the sake of planning an elaborate d2 fakeclaim is such a needlessly ballsy move that i do not have appetite for as scum.

Yeah, I think Wallz just doesn't have enough scum experience yet to know how hard/unlikely it is to pull of big complex plans like that.
Individual players will make big WIFOM plays that only affect their own fate. Scum teams do not often opt into plays that take down the whole rest of the scum team with them if caught. The only time I can really remember doing something like that was recruiting Death in Xenoblade 3 Mafia and claiming an inno scan on Han, but that was only really possible due to the fact that town had lynched the Cult Recruiter and had absolutely no suspicions that a backup recruiter could exist.

Anyways, I'd like to draw attention that I made an impassioned speech about Ctes, and Ctes showed up to complain about Wallz harping on his lack of vote and nothing else.

Anyway, I've looked at day 1 a bit again and MZero just really doesn't look scum. I think we should lynch Chris. There are several scenarios for why no kill happened last night that. I feel good enough about this tbh.

I wasn't gonna say this last night, but when Corrik was bouncing between putting Chris at -1 and Ctes at -2, both Marth and Sultan were in thread and neither took the chance to hammer Chris.
Can't really tell what this means until we know Chris' alignment for sure, but did reinforce my trust in SUltan and Marth in that moment.
