Ah, the Xbox. I believe it would have been a totally irrelevant console and Microsoft woulda been out of the market within one generation, if not for one game: Halo. The Halo franchise is the reason modern first-person shooters exist on console probably tied with Goldeneye in terms of importance, perhaps even higher on the list if we take Halo 2s multiplayer into account. Id talk about other games on the console, but really, I cant think of a single relevant exclusive. You do one thing only, but you do it exceptionally well: theres really no arguing with how influential that was on the way games operate. Plus, I think if you dropped an Xbox on someone from a great height, itd be pretty difficult to stop it killing them. Those things are beastly.
