Everybody has strengths. You probably excel at a lot of things.

It's not a talent when it's simply stating the truth.

You'd have a point if the truth is what it actually was.

Besides, you don't even really know me. How can you qualitatively speak about something like that when you're not fully informed? It's easier to see fault in a near stranger than to see virtue that may not exist.

I figured that you would call me out on that, and that's why I mentioned that it's easier to see someone's faults when you don't know them well in comparison to spotting virtue. Apparent "virtue" can actually still be a fault if the reason for it is corrupt, and so that's why I feel you need to know someone better before you can really say one way or another if someone is good.

Life has told me time and time again that I am no good. Everything i've ever done has ended in failure, socially or otherwise, and with my inability to do anything to fix core issues, it won't ever change.

I don't understand what you're saying and I doubt that's because it makes complete sense and I'm just not getting it.

You're not the only one who has been beaten down by life, experienced nothing but failure both socially and otherwise, and thinks they can't do anything about it.

Hell, you're not even the only one on this board who feels that way and has a bad habit of reminding everyone else about it for quite literally no good reason.

Furthermore, I'm dealing with the same feelings myself, and I've got a strikingly similar situation in life that you two do. But the difference is I'm not letting it beat me. Don't hit me with some garbage about differing inner strengths either, because I don't have any. What I DO have is anger, which is what I'm tapping into in a constructive way to keep going, which is exactly what I suggested you do last time we had this back and forth. It's what I'm going to do every time we have it in the future, too.

Also, you don't even know what you're talking about... in regards to me, at least. I have a very foul and fiery temper, and I feel a lot of bitterness towards society/people in general (particularly conservatives). There's no constructive way to vent that.

As a failing Christian, it kinda breaks my heart that youd think of the word in that way honestly. You ARE special start from page 1: Adam and Eve didnt get kicked out because they sinned, they got kicked out because they rejected the one thing that made them special to begin with. The freedom to be, the thoughts of good that naturally flow within everyone, and even the idea that they were perfect in every way being blessed by God. A snake came through and made it so they thought they needed this.. they needed that.. they were afraid of being naked, it was when they looked inside that they saw whatever wasnt necessary to even think about to begin with.

Same applies to you, that channel, connection, or whatever you wanna call it to a forever good is just blocked by the fact you keep seeing yourself through the eyes of a snake that tells you somehow those things arent accessible to you.

Before you even get to chapter 2 in the book.. the next book of the Bible, you
must consider that the whole idea of punishment and torment only arises from the fact that we split off from the idea that were good enough to be naked.. to stand in front of ourselves without shame

Dont let your story be just a figment of your mind, its very real there are many interpretations given to us from the different pages of the book but the beginning is abundantly clear on what its trying to say. You can fuck up the meaning of a book in its middle pages, but not the beginning or the end. everyone at the very least passes those on clear as day when it comes to oral tales passed on from generation to generation.

If you need it in simpler terms than that, then I don't know what to tell you, but have you considered that means you need to at least try to do what I'm saying and see if you find your own definition? If you by your own admission haven't got anything to lose, then why not at least try?
