Alright, long as you acknowledge that you're staying where you are because of your own refusal to put in the work and not because there's nothing that can be worked on, then there really isn't much more for me to say.

Oh I understand perfectly. You want an instant mental health fix, something that doesn't exist for anyone, ever. Because such a thing does not exist, and you refuse to try anything with steps or gradual change for fear of failure/laziness, you incorrectly perceive that as not having any options whatsoever.

However... I have a pretty reasonable estimation of my own skills and abilities, and I know that if I have reason to think I can do something, I can get the work in to get it done. If I don't think I can get it done, then I see no value in persisting anyway no matter what the (theoretical) benefit might be. In terms of what we've been talking about, my estimation falls on the short side in regards to myself. I base my estimations on past successes and failures, and I have had nothing but failure for these things, and so I have no basis for expecting anything else.

There's only so many times that a person can tolerate getting dragged through the mud (sometimes in front of the whole board) and treated like dirt during drunken escapades before they can't take it anymore, and you crossed that line a long time ago.

Because it almost always happens when you're either drunk or high. You're infamous for those problems (among other things), and things aren't going to turn around for you until you kick your addictions.

I gave you a bunch of chances and they all ended in you going off on me for completely inane things while you were drunk/high. You need to do something about your addictions because they're the biggest causes of you pushing everyone away and alienating yourself because you evidently just can't control yourself while you're under the influence.

That was tied to one of the incidents I recall most clearly. I made a joke about a character on there acting like a stereotypical CEman, and you took it personally and had a complete meltdown over it.

I've never had that at any point in my life, though, and have had more of the opposite (such as intense bullying), so... I don't believe that will ever be possible for me. I consider offline and online different, :/ . For example, I want to physically be able to be near someone and to be able to get out and physically do things with them, like go shopping or get something to eat together. Things most people would consider mundane, but they're things i've had more or less no experience with for people outside of my immediate family.

And as a human being, my future (and yours, as another human) is better described in similar terms to quantum mechanics rather than classical physics.

In other words, previous results have little to no bearing on future results. No one, not even the individual in question, will ever be able to accurately predict the outcome of their own endeavors, regardless of how well they know themselves.

Human beings are all fundamentally flawed, but here's the thing that causes a split: circumstances. Conversely, some people were practically set up for failure from the moment they were born because of their own circumstances, and for another subset of those people, there's nothing to be done to overcome those circumstances. Opportunities are never equal across the board, and when there are none, no amount of wishful thinking or self-delusion will ever give some people a chance to escape their fates.

A day and a half just to retread the same fatalistic bullshit.

And talk about self-delusion. You've self-deluded yourself into thinking your position is impossible to escape from and that the concept of fate isn't absolute nonsense, just because you reject all advice and suggestions, possible or not.

Would you even really expect anything else? :P
