I feel like that Sunspot nerf, while super small, is enough to make him nearly worthless

Eh I kinda doubt that does anything to the amount Sunspot is played. Maybe some people start running Iceman but Sunspot is your protection against drawing bad.

Seeing more Iceman is something nobody wants. He always turns my Jubilee into a 5 instead of a card I wasnt gonna play :(

No way is Sunspot worthless now. The decks that use him best (She-Hulk/Infinaut setups) are still going to use him for sure. For others it's possible that Iceman or Korg or whoever might be more appealing now, but he's still completely usable in basically any non-Cerebro, non-Killmonger deck

The problem really was just that he was by far the most used card in the game, by like 5% over #2

Im surprised I dont see Yondu a ton for 1 cost cards considering his potential to ruin an enemys strategy. Ive killed so many Prof X, Patriots and Knulls lately its insane

Im convinced that the thing with how America Chavez works that makes her the most common Yondu target is real, even though they say it isnt.

I think the argument against Yondu is that whatever it destroys doesn't actually matter because you don't draw all your cards in a match. So it's no different to that card just being one of the ones you never draw.

I actually think it's a bit more than that though since the destroyed card is revealed. So both players are given information to work with

Yondu hits my America Chavez way more often than any other card but I guess statistically it should since she's always in the deck when Yondu is played whereas every other card has the ability to be have been played or be in hand

When Howard the Duck comes out we will finally know for sure if he really is just hitting the top card in the deck

I have the Anime like Jubilee variant in my store and it's super tempting even though I don't play a Jubilee deck

I wish when you bought the 1200 variants, it also gave you the corresponding avatar

I don't even like it that much, but I'm using the Elektra avatar from the Valentine's Day bundle that I accidentally bought so that I get something of use out of it, lol.

All you lucky fucks getting Jubilee variants in your shop when mine is constantly plagued with Rhino and Vulture when it isnt all Pixels. Ive seen the same Variant in my shop 3 times in the last week I swear

there's simply no reason to run yondu over korg unless you are also playing death / knull

drawing a rock is generally much worse than not drawing a random card (and if yondu hits a necessary card they will always retreat, whereas they may stay in and hope to draw it at slightly worse odds with korg)

Anime jubilee is so good but Im kinda cooled on her as a card.

I use her in my Cerebro 3 deck after best 1-cost Bast has PUMPED HER UP

Think of his effect as "you have to leave behind at least 1 card in your deck"

Well, the vast majority of decks leave behind 3 cards in their deck, so the effect is literally useless at best

sunspot will get taken out of any deck that generally tries to play cards on every turn whenever possible but will still be played in decks that don't really do stuff until turns 4-6 or infinaut / shehulk stuff that wants to intentionally float mana

which is good. no card should be so good that it's in auto include in every deck

Not entirely useless. It does at least reveal the card so gives you some info. But yeah there's definitely better 1 drops

Just had an opponent Wong and then Hobgoblin and then retreat. I don't think he thought that one through

Well I feel like Ive gotten a lot of use out of Yondu at least. Hes great in my high power Jubilee deck. Its always nice to destroy what couldve been a very annoying card played

One time I had a guy play 4 Yondu's on me because of Cloning Vats, and that sucked.

And yeah, 6 power isn't THAT much better, but that extra one power forces more investment to beat him, because there are tons of 1/2 power card combos that add up to 5.

tbh he soaks up most of my power on later turns

But no one plays him expecting him to get to a certain power level. He's just there to incidentally soak up energy. Of course you can get better cost/power ratio with 1/2 drops but that's not the point. Titania does not replace him for example.

Now, Kitty also soaks up energy and has a much better cost/power ratio. That's why she replaces him.

I'd like to see a card similar to hiemdall but to the right.

having an identical card to heimdall to the right could potentially be a bit too strong (forcing opposing players to effectively guess whether stuff is going right or left

but something like a card that swaps all the cards at the left location with all the cards at the right location could be cool (counting as a move effect)

Yeah the genius of Heimdall isn't that you can trick the opponent by moving all your cards left. It's that the opponent has to spend 5 rounds avoiding left if they anticipate a Heimdall, then you can choose to play it or not, or even use this meta to trick them into thinking you are gonna Heimdall but you're not.

In other words, adding a card that moves to the right would add to yomi level 1, but kill yomi levels 2 and 3.

As far as Shuri is concerned, just making her a 5 cost unit is probably completely fine, because then you can't Arnim Zola/Taskmaster whatever you use her ability on (Red Skull/Aero/She-Hulk) to double dip on her ability for free.

At that point she can also have honestly up to like 5 or 6 power.

Additionally, changing her ability to say:

The next card you play gains "On Reveal: Double my power." adds counterplay, but does make the Arnim Zola interaction more powerful.

No reason to make her interaction with Arnim Zola more powerful, even with a cost bump.

A Turn 6 Enchantress for the triple dip

This one was very fun. Morph turned into Jubilee and I got to play my own and Absorbing Man for lots of pulls

Sera turned up in my store so decided to grab her. Wasn't who I originally intended to go with but figure she has enough uses that she's worth grabbing even I'm not planning on using her right this second

I hate when I play Galactus and my opponent retreats so fast I don't get to see the animation play out.

I mean, I was gonna win anyway, but don't rob me of my fun. :(

Space Throne left lane followed by Central Park middlesure sucked having a Squirrel lose me an entire lane. My opponent played Iceman there, but I never saw an Uatu so I guess he got lucky :/

boy it sure is fun running into sandman every game

it's like they want me to play shuri until she gets nerfed

Thats my fear for when Shuri gets nerfed, its just gonna be a Sandman fest to stop Hit Monkey and Kitty, making dozens of other decks unplayable in the process

destroyed an opponents Darkhawk with Yondu in my Deathwave deck, they play Agent Coulson and on turn 6 they played another Darkhawk thanks to it. Still won though

I bought Thanos, but without some cards playing the Infinity Stones quickly feels a little challenging. Still a deck Ill try here and there though.

i actually think thanos is one of the better value cards when you don't have a full collection

you can definitely make him work with a ton of different packages - zoo with kazar + blue marvel, lockjaw, killmonger + death, ongoing with spectrum

like a neat little puzzle. filled the raft with brood and debrii and got destroyer from it, plopped it down in the vault on turn 5, knew they were going to play hela in the (probably) only place they can on turn 6.

Shocker is a strange choice for a Hela deck, I wonder what else they were running

I just had a match where we both had Hazmat decks and one of the locations was Bar With No Name. Both of us had control over one of the remaining lanes, so we kept having a competition to see who could lose BWNN harder.

That's probably the only time someone's ever intentionally used Enchantress to kill Typhoid Mary's power.

I too just bought Thanos as my first big bad and I'm using him in like a weird Deathwavejaw hybrid where I throw everything at the wall to see what sticks

Bar With No Name is one of my favorite locations because it leads to wacky stuff like that lol.
