Everything does seem to relate back to that.
Poor health? Need more money for better health care.
Lonely? Everyone is your friend if you're treating for diner.
Family issues? No matter how much hostility exists it will be forgotten as soon as one of them wins the lottery.

I'd argue that it's often not the #1 thing people complain about, but it's at the root of most things people complain about even if they don't want to admit it.

Health issues can trump lack of money, and you certainly can't always fix them with it, but yeah, if you have enough money you can solve most problems and find a way to be happy if it's possible at all.

And money is really just power to be honest, you use money to buy things or have people do things for you. With enough money everything is possible, although old age can take most of the fun/shine out of the possibilities.

If I suddenly had 5 million dollars, just 5 mill, don't need more, I would do many things I would probably enjoy. I would travel places, I would have a new car, I would have a nice place to live with it's own pool for me to exercise. I would get all the best VR devices. I would have places near my house, or possibly rooms in it for friends I enjoy doing things with to stay. I would hire a chef to cook the best foods I like the most. I would get a bunch of pets and have a huge yard for the dogs to run/play in.

Money can buy happiness and more importantly it's fertile ground for you to grow happiness in, it can allow not only you to be happy, but you to spread it around to many other people. Sadly many people who actually have money, never actually use it even for their own happiness, let alone to help others find it, which is truly sad.

If any of those billionaires gave me even 1 day of interest of their money, I could sure provide alot of happiness in the world with it.

I can't be sure. We've been told that money is not everything, but people seemed to have turned it into almost everything in order to live.

its not necessarily money or lack of money but the financial security or lack of security that comes with not having to worry about where your next meal is coming from or how you will be able to make rent or whatever other issue.

Its always odd to see people who dont have money think they know what it is like to have money

Plus, a ton of people with lots of money have problems. Money doesn't solve problems, but spending it can help with the problems.
Maybe money itself is the problem.

Living within your means can be hard but extremely rewarding. I don't need companies telling me what I need or deserve.

Money is a problem itself But it can help to solve other problems. That said, people with money and people without money both have problems. Just different problems

Amount isn't the problem. I am stingy and bad at optimizing my spending.
