Thanks, I don't have that. I honestly think my metabolism is just fucked up. Because I come in under the needed Cals for my size and either go up are stay where I am. So I guess that wouldn't work. Oh well.

Thinking of giving up.
Have you had your thyroid tested? I also need a thyroidectomy because I am a waste of bones and organs.

But my thyroid started going hyperactive! I lost 70 pounds in 2022, but have started climbing back up :(

Is that just with blood work or does it go deeper than that. Because with the blood work it seems that it is okay.

Sorry about your situation. How bodies are so odd sometimes. Like people say do this that and this. But no one is really able to fit in all those boxes .

You can get an ultrasound, too. But, you can feel enlarged ones with just a hand check. Stick with the blood tests, but you can always ask your doctor if you're curious.

Thanks next time I go to the doctor I would ask. Because honestly it is a just silly how I am still big. And I see people eating food and enjoying life and I can't and it makes me so sad.

Today was my first day of using Vynasse. That appetite suppression is no joke. Went more than 12 hours in between any food.

And while I was driving home, I was wondering if the attention was better today. Then, I realized I had virtually kept my hands off of my head all day today, and I had to pull over to stem some tears.

I have been told I needed to focus for over 20 years. It just started to hinder my ability to obtain and hold a job. To obtain measurable results this early is massive, pun intended.

Bro how much sugar are you consuming?

Dont forget to account for carbs also, which AFAIK our body treats the same as sugar. Anyway, does not matter how much exercise I do or how good the rest of my diet is. As long as Im eating even just a bit of sugar, I do not lose weight. Its frustrating, but thats just the nature of the beast.

Sugar is a carb. You might be thinking of things when it comes to complex/simple carbohydrates. There's a bunch of reasons why either can mess with weight loss.

One very frustrating thing involving that for people is when they've actually lost fat but gained water weight, so the scale numbers went up. Youd never be able to tell that unless you're getting scanned every week or you're a lifter doing cut/bulk cycles so you have the experience. There's a bunch of other funky things that it can do too and that's in a perfectly normal body. It gets even weirder if you have abnormal gland fuckery or other things going on too.

Couldn't agree more. There are AMPLE amounts of fuckery going on with me. Some things I can fix/control (diet, exercise, thyroid, diabetes).

And some I can't (MS, genetics).

Did I mention I'm a waste of bones and organs? Like I got a shit hand dealt to me in life lol

I think we all need to remember that our lifestyle changes are designed to handle some fun foods now and then. Don't beat yourself up over a damn fine sandwich.

I was beating myself up over some ice cream purchases and whatnot but like... our weight loss journey is designed to help us still have fun choices. =D

That's pretty much how I handle mine too. I'm mixing and matching from a fairly routine set of things that makes doing the math pretty simple. Like I need one meal from set A set one from set B. Those sets are limited by what I regularly buy and my cooking abilities. I could swap around sides and stuff a little more, but I'd rather just not put the mental energy into it.

My cutting phases are pretty nice and tight like this. I need that same discipline when I'm bulking. Instead I just eat like an entire pizza. Then my cuts are more difficult than necessary

Do you mean an actual run or maybe a light jog/walking?

I believe walking is more beneficial for a heavier person, considering less joint stress and easier to be consistent with the program. I read that around 150 minutes a week is generally adequate, although Im sure Im getting twice that in leisurely walks alone.

Down almost 10 pounds since the New Year. Also put on some noticeable muscle mass, including going from 4 to 10 chin ups.

Drank more than I should have the last two days though partly due to hunger and being stupid.

I'll be so happy when I can level off on the weight.

People with existing risk factors for heart disease, such as diabetes, were twice as likely to experience a heart attack or stroke if they had the highest levels of erythritol in their blood, according to the study, published Monday in the journal Nature Medicine.

The results should not be extrapolated to the general population, as the participants in the intervention were already at increased risk for cardiovascular events, Rankin said.

To confirm the findings, Hazens team tested another batch of blood samples from over 2,100 people in the United States and an additional 833 samples gathered by colleagues in Europe through 2018. About three-quarters of the participants in all three populations had coronary disease or high blood pressure, and about a fifth had diabetes, Hazen said. Over half were male and in their 60s and 70s.
In all three populations, researchers found that higher levels of erythritol were connected to a greater risk of heart attack, stroke or death within three years.

Not really pro artificial sweeteners, just nothing against it for weight loss in moderation.
Jury for it still seems out there since their research was already on people with preexisting risk and etc.

Also true.

Just seems like too many variables were left hanging in that research to just spew it as a cause and effect type thing. Basically said their first results were found by accident as well.

And how long does erythritol stay in a persons blood?
When was the last time each participant ate or drank erythritol?
How bout people people who were overweight and helped use erythritol to get to normal "healthy" weight?
Is it okay for healthy people to drink as much of it?

Definitely needs more research to back up the claims.
