I mean he's not exactly wrong, Dave is infinitely more entertaining when he's being a raging manchild than a boring wet blanket sleepwalking through games on easy mode like in Ragnarok. Very interesting second sentence there though Dave, you should probably make those behind the scenes donations public, buddy.

From what I hear, this has been brewing since the god of war difficulty rant. Someone convinced him that max Dood and other streamers were playing on hard, so Phil had to as well because he is a real gamer.

But those people were actually just playing on easy/medium and not enjoying the game so they dropped it.

This is both amazingly and pathetically delusional. There are no facts in a person's enjoyment or something. That is calling someone who really hates the colour blue "factually" wrong. The fact that he calls disliking the game "bandwagoning" just shows how small his mind is.

I love Phil around Christmas/Holliday time. It reall brings out just how entitled he is.

Edit: and it's happening, Phil got stuck on a boss in Calisto Protocol and is doing his tired song and dance how the game sucks. At times you can see the realisation in his eyes as he claims the game sucks but also vehemently defendes the game.

Why is he defending the game so vehemently anyway? Its odd to see him start off like that.

It makes him able to present himself as a lone rock in a sea of lies and corruption and he's been hyping the game up pre-release and he needs to make his dents believe its good enough to want to see and want to donate while seeing it.

Anyway he got angry at Elden Ring winning GoTY because if Phil had a poor streaming experience with a game it should not even be nominated.

Speaking of GOTY, what game do you think will make its appearance on both his most disappointing and best this year? He does this shit every single year so there's gotta be at least one this year, and I'm tempted to say it's Elden Ring because it didn't revive the channel like he wanted it to.

It'd be really amazing if he put Callisto Protocol on there after constantly sucking it off and saying that people who didn't like it were just haters or trolls or whatever, it'd be like when Shadow of War came out with the lootboxes ruining the last act of the game and he was on the frontlines defending that game like his life depended on it until he got to the last act and instantly turned on it.

He's saying Ragnarok is a 80 hour game. I guess if you are going for 100% then yeah it should take about that length but he is just doing a casual playthrough and it's taking him almost 2 months to beat. I guess pausing every 2 minutes to check for tips can really pad out a game.

Imagine having a game literally tailor made for you by the developers and you still somehow fail to meet expectations and are shit.

I just remembered he said he expects Pokemon scarlett/violet to take about a month and a half to beat....he really needs almost 2 months to beat a Pokemon game.
