If they were to do an anime about Boruto's dad as a kid I would definitely watch it. Especially if it was fillerless

Made in Abyss season 2 beated.

This series is incredibly good. Think I liked this more than season 1, though it's a bit hard to say. It's really impressive how the series has managed to shift the types of stories it's trying to tell while still having everything feel like it fits together in the bigger picture.

I do wish they did a bit more with Vueko towards the end, but oh well.

I finished Call of the Night. It was the very definition of style over substance. It was pretty and well put-together, but there wasn't anything there. Ko is one of the most boring characters ever, Nazuna is one of the most annoying characters ever, and whenever they were together they brought out the worst in each other. Why are all the ladies instantly falling for a literal fourteen year-old kid with no substance. The only part that I understood was Ko's struggle to fall in love with Nazuna, because nothing about her was worth falling in love with. There were a few points where it felt like the writer himself realized nothing about this was compelling, so they threw in some new twist with no build-up and no payoff. This whole anime was just a kid wandering around at night asking himself the same mundane questions over and over. I couldn't bring myself to care about any of it.

Isn't the in-universe reason that his blood tastes good? If so, that would be his literal "substance". Though that doesn't explain the childhood friend - she's human. I also don't know for sure; I didn't watch it.

Not familiar with this show in particular, but this question applies to so many anime that I don't get how this could be someone's major complaint about a show.

I tend to make that complaint also if it's overly centralizing to the show. It's probably arguable that my real issue sometimes is a lack of other things about the show that interest me, but idk

Finished Mob Psycho 100 S2 and the hot springs extra episode just in time for season 3. Loved Mob and the Body Improvement Club. Most of the side characters were good. Still don't like Reigen, but I get it. The animation was great, but the fights themselves weren't very interesting.

Mob Psycho III episode one beated

Going right back into the realness with Mob's questioning of his future path in life, and Serizawa right with him. I'm so happy the Serizawa thing stuck, that was such a nice development at the end of season 2. I'm also 30 years old and while I just recently landed a new job that feels like the start of a legit career, it's still scary to think about sometimes. So I appreciate delving into storylines like this, even if it doesn't seem it'll last tooooo long but I kind of hope the season at least has it in the background somewhat as a Mob finding himself type thing/Serizawa getting more comfortable.

I watched the first episodes of Do It Yourself and Management of a Novice Alchemist.

Do It Yourself has a unique artstyle that I liked. The main girl seems fun too, though I hope she gets less clumsy as the season goes on and it isn't just a bunch of repetitive "lol she spaced out and made a mistake" jokes. Still, it seems like a nice anime so far.

Management of a Novice Alchemist, aka Atelier the anime. I've played one and a half Atelier games so I'm pretty much an expert on cute girls opening an alchemy shop. First episode was mostly setup, but the main girl seems fine. I'm also a sucker for alchemy so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Watched first episode of Akiba Maid War. I'll be shocked if this doesn't end up being my personal anime of the season. Within the first minute a maid gets gunned down and that really set the tone. It was great.

Do It Yourself - Now theres a title every anime fan is familiar with. Anyways this is one I had my eye on when they were revealing it and the art looks unique enough to stand out too.

Ive Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills - The MCs name is literally Al Wayne. Not really sure it will be good, but if nothing else the short blue hair girl is one of the cutest looking waifus of any show on the chart so far so theres that I guess

Bibliophile Princess - Ive heard people say the source of this is good, but it doesnt really sound very interesting to me. Madhouse doing it is the most interesting/exciting part tbh.

Pop Team Epic 2 - Never did watch the original

Akiba Maid War - PA Works presents another pretty show, but will this one be good? I dunno a ton about maid cafe culture, but I laughed at the cafe in this being called Pig Hut.

Management of Novice Alchemist - The animation for this looks better than Id have expected. Main girl looks like Ryza minus all the thickness though.

Immoral Guild - Wow this one looked so innocent until you see the title and the trailer.

Love Flops - Finally some real harem trash. I remember seeing the trailer for this a while back and one of the girls literally falls on the MC and hits him in his erection. This is peak culture. Only 2 of the girls are cute though and I doubt either is the main heroine because the swordz9 special rarely ever is.

I am now completely confident they delayed the second batch for like half a year minimum to launch alongside All Star Battle R.

It was pretty much already confirmed that was the case!

The swapped out the version of Pucci with all his final forms and replaced him with a more basic version so they can add him as free DLC later when the final part of Stone Ocean launches

you're probably thinking about Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu, which is a different show despite using a fairly similar premise and name.

Oh yeah that's the one.

I just assumed this was season two and that that was the English name for the show or something.
