I don't like a good show getting a bad reputation from unfair reviewers. People believe the reviews. You should have to prove you watched if you write a review. I don't like when shows get bombed before they even come out.

Well thats why I suggest using the aggregate score. Ignore the all 1/5 and 5/5 reviews which likely come from fanboys.

Hey now let us not diss the Wrecking Crew and Mr Immortal just because we arent all as in tube with comcis history as I am

But it is still hilarious the largest group of people who voted they didn't like the show have also admitted they don't actually know anything about it

Honestly, its a delight. But Im more of a characters and humor guy, meaning that as long as the characters are likable and the show is funny, Ill enjoy it.

With that kind of mindset, theres no such thing as tOo MuCh FiLlEr because Im just enjoying the show for what it is.

feel like it's a mediocre show so far.

i get it that it's more about lawyer stuff but the lawyering shit seems pretty boring to me. and the humor is pretty hit or miss even tho it has it's moments...

I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but I absolutely love what I've seen so far.

It's just a hell of a lot of fun, which feels really refreshing.

And if the next Phase doesn't have a multicam sitcom where Madisynn, Wongers and Donny Blaze are forced to move in together for Reasons then I say we riot.

Every person who whines about "woke shows and movies " uses politics. She-Hulk hurts the precious feelings of sensitive conservatives. So they lash out with temper tantrums

Definitely refreshing compared to some of Marvel's recent outings in tone and style. Tatiana Maslany is fantastic in the role.

Whats amusing is that this show was supposed to launch before Me Marvel but was delayed to do a lot of reshoots and edits.

Wonder how much worse it was then 0.o

You can make a judgement on whether a show, movie, or game is for you based on its advertising and commercials.

I dont like first person shooters. Im not going to like the latest Call of Duty or whatever without having to play it to confirm I still dont like them.

A lot of people tried to defend it after the first episode by assuming that the character would grow/evolve, sadly nothing changed.

Almost everything from the MCU has required you to turn off your brain to make sense of things but this almost forces you to kill your bain to try to enjoy it.

To be fair that's just superheroes in general. There isnt a single mainstream superhero movie/series that doesnt begin falling apart the second you start thinking about it.

Like the entire MCU hinges on the fact that Tony Stark solved the entire world's energy crisis in Osama Bin Laden's summer home and DC movies hinge on the fact that Bruce Wayne didn't die of fucking exposure trekking in the goddamn Himalayas looking for a ninja castle

None of it makes sense it's all stupid just enjoy it for the silly shlock that it is

Pretty agreeable. Many are burnt out by the MCU.

I havent seen it, partly because its impossible to watch it through legitimate means here.

However, I wouldnt be massively optimistic about it because Ive found the Marvel series that I have watched to be seriously lacking.

That just means they are weak. Comic readers have been following marvel since 1961 (if you don't count the golden age that goes back to the 40s)

Well since I am black man. Them fucking over one of the few black villains is kind of a sticking point to me. As far as Mr. Immortal the post was made that this show did a good job being comic accurate I pointing out with him it wasn't. It doesn't matter if you don't care about him. That is not who he was in the comics.

Also most people would have to look up She-Hulk on wiki to most stuff about her, and hell even Ironman at one point. So people being unknown isn't a good reason to shit on them.

Out of the 6 episodes it's only had 1 scene (third episode) where something interesting may happen (still poorly written), and only now on episode 6 (last scene) they're alluding to what may come of it.

So there's been 2 scenes that MAY be interesting.

From the clips I've seen, mostly meh. It doesn't seem terrible, but gives the impression of being a 6/10.

What I'm getting from a lot of these replies is that the people who pre-emptively decided they don't like She-Hulk want it to be exactly like every other MCU project so they can then complain about how it's not doing anything original or trying anything new.

They're not judging it on its own merit, they're judging it by what it hypothetically "should have been" instead. She-Hulk has always been a lawyer in the comics, why the actual fuck would you expect anything different?

Or, you know, watching people on YouTube who tell them how to feel about it.

Ace Attorney managed to have a good balance of quality writing, genuine comedy and well written courtroom scenes.

Harvey Birdman Attorney At Law managed it.

Even Danganronpa managed it.

She-Hulk didnt even try.

I wanna like it but the storyline sucks. Like all her drama is so insignificant compared to other super heroes in the MCU

Maybe in season 2 she will reluctantly embrace being a super hero and your grievances will be addressed. Right now she is trying to just be a lawyer. Normal people focus on their life and career. That's this show. She hasn't faced a world ending threat yet but maybe she will someday

I like the part where she did the dance. I didn't watch the show.

They're no more accurate to court proceedings than She-Hulk is (in fact, they're all somehow less accurate), and She-Hulk is already really similar to Harvey Birdman with the tone and comedy-over-realism focus anyway.

I'm pretty sure you literally just want to be mad and don't actually care.

The show isn't trying to be realistic. Nothing wrong with that.
