Going back I think I miiiight have put Rover and Starro a bit too low, my picks change around a lot and will depend on the day. Either could definitely go into the top 30 range if I'm feelin it. Either way they are still on THE LIST, and that's good enough for me!

And so that's how Starro became one of the first members of Big Troubles. And she dealt with the money that the organization has gained through their first mission which was finding a huge missile up on the surface of Antarctica. Starro even landed the final finishing blow on the giant undeadish penguin that was standing in their way. It was pretty epic.
Seriously the more I hear about this storyline the better it is.

#44: Amanda Waller

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/9/4/9/AAOJ0pAADbtt.jpg

Waller is fantastic. She's the backbone of Z'onn Z'orr and the campaign in general. And honestly everything has already been said about her already in much better and longer write ups.

I think she was really important for Data 7 early on because of her no nonsense attitude and willingness to speak to our PCs each in a way they understood and would agree with.

As I mentioned in my first post, when we first started Campaign 2, Data 7 was not a happy camper. But Waller managed to reel him in and I think their first few early talks were really important. She helped guide him down the right path without offering too much. Just enough.

Data 7 hasn't gone to Waller as much as most of the other PCs but I think each of their talks have been incredibly important for him.

I think one of the BEST convos was just after we found Lashina and she was like hey I want you to make good on your deal and help me kill Superman or die trying, and Data 7 is like oh no that's really bad, I can't kill superman, and Lashina is like then you'll die trying!

So Data 7 was very upset, and also pissed at Rosetta cus she was RIGHT THERE and didn't stick up for my poor Data 7 at all. So Data 7 ended up going to Waller to talk about it, along with Patch. And the result was her basically saying we might have to kill Superman anyways. The other option would be to kill Lashina, obviously, but Waller is more interested in using her, which makes sense. I mean, Superman is equated after all, he's gotta go!

Even though Data 7 has started to revert back to Artemis, or at least, stop being such an angry dog, he's had less reason to bother Waller with his problems or things he thinks need to be done right away, but I still always enjoy seeing other PCs go to her, even if it's just for little things. She's as cool as a cucumber and I think Scar has done a fantastic job with her.

Hint for #43:

This character has only been in one session. Oh! And I guess a couple Z'onn Z'orr sessions as well.

#43: The Phantom Stranger

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/2/1/AAblU3AADtrR.png

Look at this little guy! Isn't he just the sweetest?

He also happens to be one of the most powerful magical beings who was reduced to what you see here from THE SPECTRE.

Not that I'm complaining! It's a good look!

The Phantom Stranger storyline is definitely one that will be running all the way till the end of the campaign I'm pretty sure, and was one of the first introduced to us. I've gotten a few tidbits into trying to figure out how to cure him of his mousey fate but this one ain't getting solved quickly, that's for sure.

The little guy is almost always looked after by Detective Chimp and is often found munching on mozzarella but Data 7 HAS had a couple interesting moments with him that keep him in my top 52. The one COOK OFF Z'onn Z'orr session being one of those moments. The Phantom Stranger doesn't get out much, as a mouse, but I brought him along for the Cook Off and he was quite adorable in it, calling out people for their cheats, being a very perceptive little fellow.

Ferdinand ended up throwing the contest in the end, but I'm positive we would have won if he was trying to win!

Even though he's a mouse, he can't animal speak, but I think it's better that way. He speaks through his actions, however small they may be and I always enjoy seeing the little motions he might make to imply how he's feeling.

One day we'll return him to his former glory, but I can't help but hope he'd just stay as a cute little mouse! *Nod Nod*

Hint for #42:

The Phantom Stranger is currently small and meek... This character is the complete opposite.

#42: Lono

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/0/9/3/AAAe4tAADosF.png

THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE AN ERMINE CHARACTER!

And he's not reeeeeaaaallly, but damn he's been fun to interact with in our two "Tampa" sessions.

The first of which is definitely still up there in my top 5 sessions.

There's a storyline that Lono is involved with that I'd have to look back into Han's notes and stuff to remember because hey guess what my memory is terrible, so deal with it. BUT I won't forget that both sessions that we've had Lono in have been a lot of fun. Especially in the first session, our PCs were kind of of on the fence if we should really trust this guy, or help him and what not, but we really didn't have many other options, so Lono it was.

We quickly get into an altercation with an OMAC in Tampa and soon find ourselves in one of the most fun action sequences we've had thus far in the Campaign. We had a car chase where Lono is also driving a car and urging Data 7 on to race him while it's happening. It felt like a time where all of our PCs got to shine, as well as the NPC near the end. Jumping across cars, semis, that kind of fun stuff and then Data 7 hops into Lono's car and he offers him a drink. Yum!

It's one of the few times that I've felt I was the star of the session, and while we didn't accomplish some big event or take down a huge baddy, it was really neat getting to star along side this tough, badass beefy guy with an epic car chase to boot. Every other PC got some cool moments as well, but the first Tampa mission will always stick with me for that reason. The energy was just right.

The second Tampa (or third in this case, I wasn't a part of the actual 2nd mission), was also pretty fun. Lono needed assistance since he caused a whole ton of trouble and chaos since we were last there. We made our way through a bunch of Society and eventually found Lono, who, didn't EXACTLY need our help, but we gave it non the less.

Something to note here.

TIGER SHARK is in Tampa. You'll remember TIGER SHARK from my opening post.

Data 7 wants to take down Tiger Shark... maybe? His intentions aren't exactly clear, but Data 7 and Tiger Shark didn't exactly leave on the best of notes in C1. Data 7 did save his head from being chopped off, though I think he'll be quick to forget that.

Either way, Data 7 wanted to lead a charge straight to Tiger Shark after they found Lono.

But Lono had other ideas, and before we knew it, we found ourselves leaving Tampa towards Miami where we would soon be starting another storyline, one that may tie itself into Detroit...

What's Detroit?

Oh dear...

Hint for #41:

This character wanted to join Big Troubles... Will they in the future?

Lono I think is a Top 3 player for me to play outside of ZZ for sure. I think he just has excellent interactions with the party in general. And I could foresee more driving-based scenarios with him in play. Totally agree that there was just something special in that Tampa session.

Can't believe Lena ranks #41! Actually, I'll guess Foal here.

#41: Leroy

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/5/3/8/AAOJ0pAADYMi.png

Chip Please!

Coming in hot at 41st is our favorite magical Iguana, Leroy!

Leroy and Traci are a fantastic combo, but we didn't always have them together with us. We came across Leroy first and brought him back to Z'onn Z'orr... and then he had to wait 10000 weeks for us to finally go and rescue Traci. Even though most of the campaign takes place in the timeframe of a few weeks, Leroy definitely started to feel a bit miffed that we hadn't gone to rescue Traci sooner.

You've read about Leroy before, so I don't have that much to add to him. But I was actually surprised when Leroy came down for Try Outs for Big Troubles.

Leroy himself is VERY protective of Traci and I guess I figured he'd want to stick by her at all times, which he mostly does! But... he came down to Try Outs and even grew to his monstrous form / size for one of the tests.

Data 7 had only heard about this form from the PCs when Leroy used it once in the session that Data 7 wasn't a part of. He had asked Leroy to show it to him before, but he said he couldn't have Traci finding out that he was doing such things.

Even though he used this form in the Try Outs, afterwards he asked Data 7 to promise him that he didn't tell Traci, to which Data 7 was definitely one to oblige.

Honestly speaking though, I would have loved to have Leroy on Big Troubles but I had to twist and pull Patch's paw just to allow two new members... and I couldn't ditch poor Corduroy after all... so Leroy couldn't make the cut... this time. But looking towards the future, he's definitely near the top of my list in terms of getting him on board.

Hint for #40:

This character is female and resides... NEAR Z'onn Z'orr....

#40: La Dama

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/4/7/7/AAOJ0pAADZ49.png

I wasn't around for the whole of El Paso sessions so everything that I knew of La Dama was listening in on the other group's sessions, and thus, Data 7 really didn't have any connection to her.

Thankfully, after El Paso, we had to do THE CONVOY and get all of these people away and hopefully, eventually south south south until we could get them to Antarctica. The idea of assisting a huge convoy all of the way across a continent sounded a lot of fun to me so I slated myself to be on these missions.

And so Data 7 got to know La Dama quite well!

The Convoy in particular didn't go EXACTLY as I thought it might. I figured we'd be traveling with a large group of people and have to go through obstacles or protect the convoy from attacks from equated, OMACs, anything else that wanted to stop us. Instead, most of the Convoy missions entailed us chatting with each of the different factions... (Those being La Dama, La llarona and eventually Bane's group) and deciding which route they should all take and then going ahead to make sure it was cleared out or safe to do so.

Each time we would snap in with a beacon that they would carry for us and we'd be further south. We'd have to see what each faction wanted to do, what their goals were, what the potential threats were and then go from there. Each Convoy had that kind of structure to it.

That meant that we got to talk with La Dama a lot.

La Dama had a large insectoid-humanoid creature with her that protected her at all times, named Charaxes.

Data 7 wanted to know more about that!

But that's probably a write up for later...

Anyways. La Dama is as cool as a cucumber and was always trying to stay one step ahead of the other groups that were along for the Convoy. Even Bane's group she was always trying to stay ahead of and trying to use them to her advantage. I enjoyed seeing how each PC interacted with her. I enjoyed her relationship with Pepper and I also enjoyed Brennus being at odds with her.

Eventually Data 7 would make a deal with La Dama to capture La Llarona in exchange of Charaxes no longer being under her... employ?

This... sort of went according to plan, except not really. La Llarona was captured to protect her from sacrificing herself, and even though Charaxes was no longer technically WITH La Dama, he doesn't want to leave her and stays just near by La Dama back in Castling.

Anyways. Overall the Convoy was a good amount of fun, even if it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Made a lot of neat friends, reunited with old friends and La Dama was definitely one of the stand outs for me during these set of missions.

Hint for #39: La Dama is human. This character is also human...

#39: Bobo Bennetti

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/6/2/1/AAOJ0pAADa5t.jpg

We got 2 Bobos in this campaign and both are pretty dang awesome!

Look at that mug. That's someone you want watching your back when the world is crumbling down around you.

The Opal sessions were a lot of fun, and part of why the first Opal session was probably my favorite of the bunch was in part because of our good pal here. We had to rescue him from a bunch of these shadow thingies... but honestly, Bobo would have probably been alright on his own. This guy is tough as nails. I think I tried to stamp down on him with a beeg footpaw and he just took it like a champ (He asked for it). This ain't your regular ol humie. He can take it, and then dish it out.

Speaking as a whole, Bobo didn't play a HUGE role in Opal, but he's been around in Z'onn Z'orr ever since and if there's anyone you can tell who's talking by their voice, it's Bobo. He'll take over the room in an instant, likely to Waller's chagrin.

Data 7 got along with him well in our Opal sessions I'd say.

If you were going up against Darkseid by yourself... and one other, it's good ol Bobo that you'd want to take along with you. He's got the humor, the charm and the fists. He won't let ya down.

Might not be the ACTUAL best pick... but heck you'll wanna do it anyways.

Hint for #38: Bobo Bennetti starts with a B. This character ALSO starts with a B!
