Total = -31.0lbs

***2023 results***
1/1/23: 272.4
1/7/23: 267.2 (-5.2lbs)
1/14/23: 265(-2.2lbs)

2023 Total = -7.4 pounds

TOTAL = -35 pounds

Was 265lb this morning and reached my short term goal after that bad pizza night last saturday. Lost 2.2lbs this week which is the number i want so thats good. Also had the tripple whopper yesterday haha
If i could lose 2.2 lbs every week, that would be ideal.

Ate a whole t-bone before going out. Got a giants pretzel with beer cheese dip. Shared some nachos. Then ate 7 wings. Also drank 2 beers.

Healthy is subjective. For my goals, it helps with my psyche and I still lose weight. 80% of the week i am eating good and try to add veggies and fruits where i can.

I tend to restrict my calories too much when i really focus on it so i dont mind days like that.

Leftover steak i reheated up with some ghee and garlic.
Also trying to see if i like asparagus. Only had it a few times and was on sale. Put it in airfryer with some olive oil, salt, pepper, and paramasan cheese. Pretty good.
Need to utilize air fryer more fore veggies.

Lol true.
Makes some sense though and has worked for me so far.
Long as i dont do it multiple consecutive days, i still steadily lose weight.

I feel like once you are dieting and your body gets used to only getting a low calorie amount, it adapts to that little amount and could slow down weight loss. So a good shock to your metabolism every once in a while with extra calories is okay.

Also helps with mental health for me which is just as important for losing weight.

Mannnn. Asparagus is good.
Dont know what a usual serving is but i just been eating a bag today and yesterday lol.

Pop em in the air fryer with olive oil, salt, peper, and garlic powder. Also parmesan cheese. 7 minutes on highest settting shaking the whole thing in the middle.

Woke up 265.8lbs this Tuesday morning. Pretty good to be near Saturday weigh-in again already after eating out Saturday night. Took me till like the Thursday morning to get back to previous Saturday weight.

Was hoping to get some sous vide cooking in today but wifes mom still isn't working today for some reason :/

Havent been since i went twice the first week of the year. Did some push ups and body weight squats yesterday though and sore from that lol.

And i have been working on few lateral and posterior shoulder workouts almost everyday since when i eventually lose weight, i want to see if it will help me have more defined shoulders which have always been lacking.

I suggest you start with a personal trainer if just for the program, when I started training 6 yrs ago (i was 30) Id get one session with a PT every 2 months so that it wouldnt feel too redundant, then you just consistently show up even if you dont feel like it and results will undeniably follow

Bro if i had the time i would. I watch my 16 month from morning pretty much till night. And then i work the night shift weekends.
Anything is better than nothing for me at this point.

And when i did do twice in a week that one week, i did do full body workouts which i was switching too. Deadlifts, squats,bench, and some lat pulldown movement.

Know what i have to or want to do, but family is first.

yeah depends on your feeding window, could also be dehydration though, maybe drink more water, I personally train fasted in the morning, thats how I like it, I am not on a calorie deficit though so cant relate to your issue, probably get the workout done an hour or 2 after your last meal? or after your first meal maybe

That when i try to go but even when my wife gets home, she's tired and pregnant so dont really want to leave her alone with baby. By the time i have any chance at night, its already so late to get a good workout in without ruining what little i sleep have already.

Woke up still around 265. Kinda annoying because ive been eating so good since Monday and been around 265 since Tuesday.

Usually lose the couple of pounds by Friday or Saturday weigh in after eating good so hopefully the trend continues.

I cut out rice pretty much and if i do eat it, i make sure its a small portion and never get more than that. I grew up with rice so i can put plain white rice down easy haha

Ordered wawa doordash for my big lunch before working tonight since there was a good deal. Ordered a philly cheesestek sub, chicken quesadilla, and a salad.
I had to order over 25$ to get 25% off lol

Oh yeah that what i mean. I mean i can put it down easy like i can eat A LOT of it lol.

Ate a lot again Saturday for Jaguars game, but they lost. So i guess i have no occasion to eat that much again for a while. Maybe Superbowl.

Split nachos, giant pretzel, and wings with buddy through firdt half of game. Then i had a brunch burger with truffle fries and ended night with a skillet cookie.

Think i went too hard on myself after eating some gelato and didnt eat but a few pieces of steak after a chicken breast with a pita, and apple before the gelato.

Weighed less today but was extra hungry.
Went to grocery store and got fried chicken. Ate 2 breast and a side of cheese curds which were trash, but i ate anyway.
Eating apple now.

Lol thats a good idea, but these were on sale.

Had leftover sous vide chuck roast and just realized it taste just like brisket. So ate some with bbq sauce and made my wife a chopped "brisket" sandwich.

Broke to the 250s today at 259.6 this morning. Officially made it to 40lb lost.

Fasted since my publix sub yesterday ane stopped by pulix again and got some snoked gouda mac n cheese. Sliced and heated up one and a half chicken breast to eat with it. Finished off with a pear and banana and a little bit of halo top ice cream. Fulll. Probably gonna call the fast here.
