When they told me I was being let go and I asked why, I was pretty much "ok this is a mutual agreement to terminate employment." I was well within 3 months so I don't have an legal recourse in terms of anything and I don't really care because I'm still getting paid for the hours I worked. I have seen what logging requires so now I can exaggerate on my resume about my experience for a better job anyway. But yea, when they were telling me this I was just dumbfounded to the reasons as to why I was being let go, especially because up until that point they were very happy with the work I was doing as a truck driver. Even if this hadn't happened im not 100% sure how long i would have stayed because they have a pretty lax attitude towards safety and trucking regulations.
