Alright so ill make the topic if we don't use it that's fine too.

1st come first serve to make the queue..

To host im assuming Chris has to approve?

You can move down the queue if you wish, just say ill move down after x or whatever.

Also Chris can do whatever he wants and can jump line whenever he wants that seems to be the community understanding

I would like NOT to be first in line and would need a cohost due to my shitty work schedule, but I'd very much like to write up flavor/roles for a role-heavy Dota 2 Mafia 2.

I also would not want to be first and request a cohost due to my inconvenient timezone.
(though I am glad everyone got more used to 7 AM deadlines)

The flavor will be Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. Because we can use more barely disguised gacha games in our lives.

(I also dont think Chris has to approve hosts. But some hosts will need more experienced cohosts than others)

Surely this topic will end up archived without constant activity.

Is making a Google Doc that difficult? I can whip one up right now if that'll make this queue stuff much easier to manage and keep track of.

Up to you. It isn't that hard to just put an up ever so many day.

I can host a "Simple Mafia" whenever there is a slot available. I can do that now or mid-September, but not from August 29th through September 10th.

I have 2022 NBA Mafia looked over by Chris and could be ready-ish in a few days with some mild tweaks, but its a somewhat experimental game so perhaps best to have at least one more normal game go ahead of me if theres one ready

Completely agree with han's post from the previous topic. I liked chris' "don't claim flavor and don't meta it" but it's certainly a challenge.

My "Simple" set up is that the only non-vanilla townie/goon roles are doc, cop, and don. Scum would be 25-33% of total players. Alternatively, I could just make everyone vanilla if you guys prefer that. No flavor. It's a "can be run on the fly" kind of thing.

I will await whether people approve me. I can understand if not since I'm pretty green.

I like the idea of a simple mafia. Back when Board 8 had actual activity we just called those newbie games, and there were always tons of new players while a vet or two would sign up and play with kid gloves. It was a good time.

Will try to figure out how to market it like this in a topic title. I won't add the Mafia flair to the sign-up topic so more people notice (the flair will obviously be on all the game topics like it's supposed to be). We may get a person or two wanting to give it a go, but this place is pretty dead these days so IDK.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for Super Smash Bros. Mafia. It's been several years since I last hosted a game, but I've been contemplating the setup for about a month. Or rather, contemplating a few setups. I'll eventually pick one and run with it lol

I don't see a need to check the balance in a game with such minimal roles.

Just post sign-ups.

If it's an open set-up, then nobody needs to check it.
