Stuffing controversy aside, the love Galaxy gets never ceases to baffle me. I always considered it the low point for 3D Mario games. We went from immersive sandbox levels in 64/Sunshine to these bite-size planet-hopping levels that often felt overly scripted. I get that many people like Galaxy because its level design reminds them of classic 2D Mario, but Galaxy never quite clicked with me.

Galaxy 2, on the other hand, I loved. The levels felt meatier, and the fact that I went in with rock-bottom expectations probably helped as well.

Kirby's Dreamland 2 was always the one I played the most, so I vote that.

As for the Mario topic, I read through it and it looks like there was just as much praise for 64 as there was for Galaxy, so a close match makes more sense than a blowout. If anything, it sounds like Galaxy was blowing out 64 early (possibly stuffed at the start), and that 64 came back slowly throughout the day (possibly stuffed also). Sounds like everyone was a cheater probably, but the close results match the close discussion at least.

Galaxy is colorful, imaginative, and the movement of the space environments is super fun. I don't actually care for sandbox Mario. 64 is fine, but Sunshine is a mess of bad design decisions.

The love for Dream Land 2 has always baffled me. This collection was my first experience with that game and I honestly thought it was one of the worst games I ever stuck with enough to beat.

Voted 64, but Super Star is great as well (never beat the latter because I always get stuck on the Great Cave Offensive).

Lmao that's the most obvious vote stuffing I've ever seen. I'll take the blame for alerting the attention of the stuffer, being the last post :( Galaxy wasn't just winning when I posted. It was crushing 64 by like 15 votes, a shockingly beautiful result. Those 64 fans sure waited for a convenient time to show up!

I liked the original a lot. Kirbys Pinball Land is probably my personal favorite but I understand thats more of a spin-off game.

Adventure is my favorite but they're all excellent

The result stands because I only have so many brain cells I'm willing to expend on this.

Plus I voted for Galaxy anyway, so you can't call me biased.

I mean I don't particularly care who "wins" in these things but it was pretty blatantly obvious at least one person was stuffing for Mario 64

Yep, if you like Mario 64 you also like DMC2.

This is kind of an insanely good collection honestly, none of these games are bad

SS > DL3 > 64 > DL2 > A > DL

I pity voted DL3 though lol, even though I admit SS is the best. but they're all worthwhile games, even the original Dream Land which is super charming

What a super good collection here. I couldn't believe when they first announced it because they never put this many good games together in one collection with no strings attached. And in all honesty the new ability challenges (actual literal new content in the collection) deserve a spot on the poll too right alongside the classic games.

It's a tough choice for me between KDL3 and K64. It's hard for me to judge them in this context because this was my third release of Kirby 64 that I owned while it was my first time legally owning KDL3 (I had played through it before). That pair of games is possibly my favorite small segment of the Kirby series.
