I went ahead and finished up going to Yusuke and Makoto's room and getting their updated Personas.

Yusuke's talk was really nice. Of everyone that I spoke with, he seemed the most sincere. He does tend to ramble on a bit but it's true to his character. That night I went and visited Hifumi again. We didn't do much, just hung out in the church and I gifted her a nice aroma set. Then I went to Makoto's room the next day. First thing I notice as she's talking to me is I had no idea how much this girl loves Pandas. Her room is filled with them. And the second thing is holy shit her upgraded Persona is so badass.

No one came up to me after that and said they needed to talk to me, so I think I got everyone. I headed over to Kichijoji during the day to visit Sumire because I wanted to rank up with her. But while I was suggesting we hang out, she told me we should meet up with everyone and head to Mementos so I did that instead. I checked up on my requests and I had two of them: One for the mother who was abusing her daughter and one for the brother who was abusing his sister. But in order for me to get to their location, I had to dive deeper into Mementos than I have been before. I went to where the Holy Grail previously was and headed up the escalator into the Path of Da'at.

It's almost criminal how much I leveled up while navigating through this path. Everyone was giving me 8,000+ yen and 6,000+ exp per battle, and I was using the R2 auto battle feature so I was getting it instantly. Met up with Jose as well and got some more cognition levels, mainly in items and money. Futaba would also not shut up about making yakisoba noodles. To the point where it was making me crave them.

The mother who was abusing her child was up first. Her battle was pretty easy, even though I could only hit her with Bless skills. Luckily I had Sumire with me and I swapped Morgana out with Akechi. I'm starting to warm up to Akechi now. He used his Showtime move with Joker again and I noticed this guy is such a ruthless killer. The second guy came next. His battle was more annoying than anything because only Akechi was able to hit him. But using buffs + debuffs and some patience I was able to take him out.

I finished those two requests. Not sure if I'll end up getting more. And actually, I'm not sure if going to Mementos was the right call but I did it anyway. I went up a few more floors to rest area 11. It's there I saved. I'll have more time Sunday to continue and hopefully finish up this Mementos section.

Makoto likes buchimaru, which Im not sure is a thing irl or not. She has a pencil case themed after it

Play it! It's a very engaging game. I'm about to play a bit before bed. Will update progress tomorrow.

I finished traversing through Mementos and made it to the cognitive control room.

On my way there I was able to snag a bunch of flowers. I thought about buying that one safe room item that grants 40% restored SP from Jose, because each was 240 flowers and I thought I could get two, but I could only get one so I opted getting a Soma instead which cost a little over 500 flowers. I also used some cognitive points to max out my items upgrade. I've noticed the higher that stat is, the more items I get. But does it also increase my quality of items?

Jose was acting weird. Saying stuff about the flowers not tasting good. I hope he's okay.

After I left Mementos I spent some time with Sumire. She talked about her sister and got some things off her chest so hopefully this means more meaningful conversations with her. She's now rank 6. I also spent some time with Ohya who I often times forget exists and got her to rank 7. I'm one step closer to getting her Mementos request which I need to make sure I grab before I head back into Mementos again after I complete the palace. I need to check but I also need to see my ranking for Oda to see if I can also get his mementos request too.

I'm making too much money in Mementos. I don't even know what to do with it all. After I left I had close to 3 million yen and I spent a bunch of it upgrading all my weapons and armor again. Before I head into the palace I'm going to shop around a few towns to make sure I have everything I need.

I have 14 days to finish the palace. I may spend another day or two out and about but after that I'm going to head straight in.

Thanks everyone for sticking with me. I had so much more time over the summer to play this game. Right now I'm focused on work because I have a lot of bills to pay, but also working on my future career of web development. I've bought a couple of games this year, many I got bored of after a few hours. I'm clocking in around 120 hours for Persona 5. Even though I go days without playing, I love this game!
