Which made me start thinking... There was an empty chair in the Illuminati room, and when they squaded up to fight Wanda, the shot was framed as if somebody was missing to the right of Maria.

Saving vision wasnt possible. Thanos had 5 stones. No version of wanda, even in this one is beating that. Thanos with multiple stones=ultimate being we've seen in MCU

I think the two things I questioned was how easy it was for Wanda to force Wong to give up the information she wanted, the fate of the multiverse at stake and the threat of killing a couple more no names after she's turned so many of them to ash already was all it took... and they don't even address how many people she killed by the end anyway, the whole Kamar-Taj wiped out but it's all smiles because they got a whole new group training. Not to mention the other universe is fucked with virtually all the illuminati dead

I think Tom Cruise's Iron Man was definitely cut. The Ultron bots were obviously his. Otherwise a pointless thing to put in if they weren't gonna even touch on it.

Isn't the ultimate being so far been Arishem? At least within the confines of the MCU 616. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure Infinity Ultron and Supreme Strange are the strongest seen so far in the entire multiverse and would destroy Thanos with all the stones as well as Wanda.

Arishem is debatable as the current ultimate being because without a wiling avatar they cant do anything directly.

Its like they built the movie around cameos instead of the other way around.

Not sure about comics but I dont think that applies here. Its implied he could finger poke destroy the earth but he just wants to know why the eternals turned on him and then he'll decide

they're throw away variants. And they were bossed by the strongest being in any universe. This doesnt mean John Krasinski still cant be Reed Richards or that Patrick Stewart cant be Prof X.

they introduced a character who can travel between multiverses at will. Thats a pretty big deal within the MCU right now and I assume will be a big deal once Kang is formally introduced.

it wasnt a 10/10 marvel movie but it had a lot of great moments.

thanos with stones, perhaps. But as you said stones are trivialized depending on the universe youre in. Scarlet Witch had she obtained Americas power would be nigh omnipotent and would handle Thanos.

Lets also not forget Wanda was pushed back by America literally just punching her. I think in the context of this movie she looks very powerful, but there werent a lot of powerful characters in this film.

carols powers are derived from the space stone. Thats how she got them.

wanda had innate magical abilities, amplified and fortified by the reality stone. Along with darkhold knowledge.

Im assuming Maria and Carols origins are very similar wanda still punked and absorbed Marias powers.

Carol literally blasted through an entire fleet of ships effortlessly, Maria literally was crushed by a statue and died. There is 0 chance their power levels are the same.

A more interesting question is Why did doctor strange and wanda looked the same throughout all multiverses when all others (spider-man, the Iluminati, Loki) were different persons?

CM powers are cosmic, sure. But wanda was transcending reality and dimensions.

You also have to consider things like durability. Wanda may win in terms of raw power, but ultimately her body is still that of a human. This can be seen even in MoM as she is slowing down after constant use of her power in the underground tunnel. I am not saying she cant beat Carol but I am willing to bet shed have done better than anyone in this film.

I was a bit baffled at how Richards, the smartest person on the planet, just went full rambo on her as well.
