It's the other half of the mythicals! For those unaware, 'legendary' and 'mythical' pokemon are officially considered separate categories to each other (they were always separate in Japan but only in gen 5 did they split in the west). Mythicals are (usually) only available via special events, and today it's time for the big ones!

There is absolutely only one choice here.

I like most of the Pokemon here. Keldeo, Volcanion and I guess Magearna are mediocre, the others are varying degrees of good or great

But there can be only one, and it's the one that can use Google Images as a move

Deoxys is the best weird otherworldly design, and Zeraora is the best 'like a normal Pokemon' design.

It's come to my attention that I just do not care about the vast majority of mythicals.

I guess Genesect gets my vote? Eh.

Yea I actually don't care for most of them. Of the ones that I think are decent, Zeraora veers into fursona-looking a taaaaad bit with the arms but it's still cool, Darkrai is a fair amount of edgy that works enough and Hoopa specifically for the Unbound form. Deoxys definitely nails the alien-otherworld factor but it's still too creepy for me.

At least for one brief moment, Magearna was winning with 100% of the vote.

Whoops I just realised I didn't choose a pic that had Fairy Arceus lol.

It's between Genesect and Zeraora for me, with Deoxys in third. I'm not usually a fan of the more humanlike designs but I like Zeraora quite a bit. Wish it was Electric/Fighting. Also sidenote I'm just realising now how many Bug/Steel types there are, weird.

Arceus is decent. I have never understood the Darkrai love, I find it incredibly bland. Keldeo is meh, Zarude is meh, I'm not fond of Hoopa but at least it's trying to do something interesting, Volcanion's type is the only notable thing about it, and Magearna is ok but retreading Diancie ground. For some reason I think it looks like a Nier Automata enemy.

I think Zeraora is a good example for what Ermine was talking about awhile back about The Pokemon Company pushing a Pokemon to make it popular. I don't recall much enthusiasm for it when it first leaked in the US/UM datamine, but then TPC started giving it a push in various ways, and now people seem to like it.

Bottom row is awful, so is Keldeo. The other four are pretty close.

I guess Deoxys is my pick.

Hoopa is my overall favorite pokemon so... I'm already prepared for the disappointment of him being towards the bottom here

Zeraora is weird because they released him at a weird time, made him oddly less obtainable than you'd think, and just never had much of a push for him at all til recently.

Hoopa is a pretty standard design that wouldn't look out of place with the Mew, Victini, Celebi bunch

Unbound, and Hyperspace Fury, catapult it into being something fucking awesome

I actually like Confined more. The whole chaos gremlin energy it has is exactly my taste

And now Zeraora taking it away, bleagh. It's like people didnt play Unite on launch.

Genesect was too cool to be a rarity and thus gets my vote.

Zeraora isn't even in the top 3 for the poll.

And he's also never even been in the top 3-5 competitive Pokes for Unite either. He was good at lower-mid levels but nothing past that.

Oh well that just goes to show I don't look at the results until after I've already voted.

I'm surprised Zeraora is so popular here. I've always considered it to be one of the worst Pokemon designs in the series.

Magearna, but it could easily be Arceus if Legends does something cool with him.

It sucks that these mythical Pokemon are just too rare and exclusionary. No accessible way to get to know them except for spin-offs or adaptations.

i like Darkrai and Hoopa, Arceus is okay. really don't like the rest here.

That said my favorite was just the novelty of taking both into a lane together because that is just peak dream for red.

I quite like Deoxys, Darkrai, Keldeo and Magearna. Genesect isn't bad, but feels like one of those designs they should've done more with. Zeraora feels like one of those ripoffs from that one-season monster (wannabe) anime you watched in elementary school.

Eh, I for one didn't even know about Zeraora when it came out, I just saw its design at some point and liked it! I think it's feasible that many people didn't bother with US/UM and weren't aware of its presence until recently, I doubt they all hated it then changed their minds.

I didn't even know Zeraora existed until Unite, where I thought it was pretty cool

theoretically I really like Zarudes design, but I have no idea why its a mythical thing and not just... a normal cool monkey. I dont get its significance.

and its Pokdex entry says it lives in a pack, so I extra dont understand it being mythical

i wish it was just a regular cool monkey I could actually catch and use

I dont care too much for most of these so I went with Hoopa and his weird Majin Buu look.

Zeraora being pure electric is what drops it down a bit for me. It is right there to make an Electric Fighting.
