I remember like 10 years ago you could easily pick up 2 burgers, a fry and a drink from McDonalds for $6. Now if I order s combo and upgrade my drink Im paying $16 or more. Its insane and defeats the purpose of ordering cheap fast food.

Do you live in Australia?

If I get fast food its just a basic sandwich and a giant drink so around $5

Two burgers is kinda a lot my dude. One should be plenty and save you

Have you considered getting an entire pizza and a 2l instead?

I'm pretty sure you can still get a 2 quarter ponders or big macs for less than $5 on the app (in my city at least).

I have the Wendy's and McDonald's app, and I usually only get fast food if there's a good deal on something there I want.
Like McDonald's will have any size frozen coffee with any purchase so I'll go get a sausage McMuffin for $1.40 and grab a $4 frappe for free.
Sometimes Wendy's has buy medium fries get some $5 burger free.

Other than that, I might get a couple $2 burritos from Taco Bell.

What the fuck? A single Big Mac is $6.79 + 9% tax here, and a single quarter pounder with cheese is $7.29 + tax.

my regular order from arby's is ~$7.50.

Taco Bell regularly has a cravings box that's 5 to 6 bucks

Even though a 2-item combo plate at Panda Express went up $2, it's still one of the cheapest fast food places around.

McD's, Popeyes, taco bell, and KFC are still pretty cheap. My wife and I feed the two of us for under $15 at those places. Sometimes under $10.

One sandwich from Popeye's costs $3.99 add the cost of a biscuit and that's like $4.99 lol

My McDonalds breakfast this morning was like $7. Sausage biscuit, two hasbrowns, and a large coffee.

I can still get two mcdoubles or McChickens and a large fry often times under $4 with the app

A coworker just came back from subway and Im like theyve gotten expensive. Hes like this was only 17 bucks. Hes only 21 so maybe he doesnt remember the day of five dollar footlongs, but fuck 17 bucks for a shitty subway sandwich.

Yeah, subway prices are insane. I occasionally eat there out of convenience bc there's one in my office building and a six inch combo is between $8-14 dollars depending on what you get.

It's pretty easy. I find it harder to spend more than $12 on fast food just for yourself.

i got a plain thurkey ham and cheese for my kid a few weeks ago and it came to 10.79 for the sub only.

It comes out to six dollars and some change. I think you get a deal with you buy two hash browns. Im not sure though. I live in the Chicago suburbs but I know if I go down into the city it will be a lot more. TC must live in New York or LA or something.

Thats how my local Subway gets me. The skimp you out of the meat so if you ask for double meant its like a $2-$3 upcharge. Same with Chipotle.

Most fast food places have burgers or chicken sandwiches that are like 1$ or maybe 1.50 you can get 4-5 of those and a large fry for under 10.

You are a sucker if you are buying the combos.

Your subway is much better than ours than, at our local one if you dont get extra meat youll bite into parts of the sandwich that dont even have meat on them.

subway is definitely really bad for this. my regular order last week was like $15. double what it was 10 years ago. joke's on them, i go about 4 times a year now, instead of 4 times a week.

Im a basic ham and turkey guy so they give you like four thin slices of meat. Their bread loafs arr thick enough as it is so sometimes It feels youre just eating bread and veggies.

Where the heck do y'all live? I looked up Subway Club. 6 inches $6, Footlong $9.
