It looks pretty comedic compared to Get Out and Us.

Had been hearing rumors about it being alien invasion'ish' for months. I say ish because it's Jordan Peele so it's never that simple.

I haven't even seen his movies but I know they have twists. In fact I know what some of the twists for the previous two are.

The twists aren't really the appeal, so even though you know what they are, I still suggest them (especially Get Out). The atmosphere Peele creates is really unique and unsettling.

I figured, I'm just emphasizing how his stuff has that pop culture status where people know about it without having seen it. I've barely watched movies for a long time but these do seem like ones I'd like to see.

It looks more like a collection of fears ("bad miracles"), which includes some disasters

Honestly I wish more trailers were like this. I can tell it's absolutely something I want to see but without it spoiling anything because I'm still at a full loss as to what is happening here

Looking forward to it as I loved both Get Out and Us. Funny that Peele seems to be following M. Night Shyamalans trajectory of a low budget horror that breaks out, followed by a bigger in scope film thats a bit more actiony and a bit more divisive, then a horror take on an alien invasion. Hopefully he will skip the stretch of four terrible films in a row.

Basically, someone is faking an alien invasion to scare the main characters away from their property and land, but then actual aliens will come into play

Get Out is the most recent movie I've seen that I would call an instant classic.

Us was underwhelming but had some neat elements along the way. It couldn't balance when it wanted to be scary or funny nearly as smoothly though.

Excited for Nope.

That's interesting and quite plausible.

Also yeah, Peele's movies gave me the same vibes as SCPs or Junji Ito stories.

I like that stuff. Incomprehensible unnatural threats that create a creeping dread. I guess it's explained sometimes but that doesn't inherently ruin it.

Horse riding, dust storms, creepy wet hands, out in the middle of nowhere. And yet those clothes look as clean and colorful as the day they were bought, not a smudge or fade on them. Look at those bright blues and pinks.

This only applies for this because you like his previous work. If you go away from a trailer thinking "I can't tell what the hell is going on" 99% of the time you aren't going to go see that movie unless you were already going to see it anyway.

I'm a bit worried because Us was such a huge step down from Get Out but I'm definitely going to see this anyway.

I like to think this movie will improve upon Us, if for no other reason than the title would also become its own negative review and recommendation if it falls short.
