They're dishing out consistently great stories and sick animation (the likes that the industry has never had before) week after week. I wouldn't call AoT the GOAT anime, but it's certainly up there with the best of all time. I've seen these hate trains for decades. DBZ was cool to hate, then it was HxH, then Naruto, then people hating on FMA:B or Code Geass, etc. All of them have contributed to raising the bar when it comes to animation, characters and plotlines, and you should appreciate that.
