Today we have crustaceans! There's way too many water types to fit any into a 10-slot poll without getting creative, so I started thinking of other options and crustaceans came to mind as a fun set to compare. Even if two of them aren't water type at all!

(also omanyte and anorith probably should've counted but it's fine since i'd rather see them in a fossil poll anyway)

later edit: oops i got omanyte and kabuto mixed up somehow pretend i said kabuto, and also oops kabuto doesn't count as a crustacean either since horseshoe crabs are fake crabs

Yeah I was unsure if they counted but decided to keep the fossils together in their own poll regardless.

Going with Krabby but I like most of these

Binacle is embarrassingly bad, however. Near the bottom of all Pokemon designs.

I see i'm the only one that likes Binacle. Even then it's only my third favorite here, Krabby and Clauncher too good.

Omanyte is a mollusk (ie not remotely a crustacean) and Anorith is an anomalocaris which is not quite even an arthropod

i was excited for Crabrawler and then it suuuucked (and Crabominable is the bad kind of ridiculous)

I don't mind it. It's not great or anything, but I don't get how a lot of people think it's one of the worst ever.

Not a fan of most of these today, doesn't help that water is probably my least favourite type.

I used Crabrawler for quite some time in Moon, never knowing it could evolve until late game. Then I evolved it and yikes.

(I still voted for the base form though as a shout out and since I don't like any of the other choices that much anyway)

I used to have a Corphish plushie I named Chompy. I even made him a MySpace page. No idea what happened to that little guy

Close call between Corphish, Dwebble and Wimpod for me today. I'm leaning Corphish, it just looks so silly and harmless like a gen 2 pokemon. Chompy is a great lil nickname for it.

Lol I knew it could evolve but didn't know what the evo looked like, so I kept getting more excited throughout the game waiting to see how it turned out. Then... well we'll talk about it in the next poll, but yeah. Oh dear. Crabrawler is still neat though.

I live for Corphish's little derp face, but I take one second to look at the adorable little hermit crab and my heart belongs only to Dwebble.
