I had trouble thinking of legal words for 2 and 3 as I was waking up so I played it without much strategy. Probably the longest that I've spent on a wordle so far

Unfortunately I saw what today's word is ahead of time on this thread. I still tried to pretend that I didn't know and went about my usual way of solving and got it in four tries.

Took me a while to actually think of a word that was legal to use at the end based on yellow/greens I already had and my remaining letters. Was stuck thinking double O for a while but couldn't see anything legal before going with Knoll and thinking that would reduce my letters rather than be right.

Once again got today in 4. I'm still 100% overall and done 13 of 14 in 4 guesses.

There was a moment today where I thought the word might be ONION, but I figured that would be a waste of a guess.

Wow. At first I was trying to find a word that had __OL_, particularly with a D at the end. But when I came up short, I then thought what if L is at the end, and then thought maybe it could be a double L. I actually thought knoll was gonna be a waste of a guess, but went with it anyway, and welp.

Reporting on some historical Wordles I did, the ultimate "feast or famine" instance (and trying to abide by hard mode rules which makes things trickier)

today's word gave me way more trouble than it had any right to

My strategy is to use my first two guesses for "arise" and "tough". All the vowels and some common consonants are checked with this. Got it in 3 tries today.

I just stick to hard mode now because I enjoy it more when I have to use the letters that I've already discovered

I decided to use "yours" and "tinea" - all vowels plus y and probably the four most common consonants.

Three tries today, might try hard mode only from now.
