I thought it was gonna be Cartman after it turned out that he never changed and that he really did spend the last 30 years of his life planning this one joke on Kyle, at the expense of his wife and children.

I watched it with the YouTube zoom thing. It honestly wasnt that bad. It didnt come at the expense of any jokes.

I think he changed in genuine faith, and is going to turn against Stan and Kyle to protect his family since the implication is they're going to alter the past, then turn again once he realizes fucking with Kyle is his true love and will want to change the past to have more time to fuck with Kyle.

So like, South Park has officially crossed over into drama territory now, huh?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the special but it wasn't really that funny. But I did enjoy it. Like, there were jokes here and there but the story was the biggest priority, when more so than it was in the later seasons.

Feels weird to be invested in South Park's storyline but hey, here we are lol.

I think they're too lazy to change that formula. I imagine it wrapping up with Kyle telling Cartman that his suspicions were wrong and that he has a beautiful family, and then Cartman revealing that he really did do it to fuck with Kyle in front of his horrified wife and kids. And of course there will have to be his trademark mocking laugh and dance.

What I'm curious to know now is like, how long is this future arc going to last? They have eight more specials that they're contracted to do. I really was expecting the future story to be a one-off special thing, but clearly they are going to continue it in the next one.

You think they'll really stretch it out for eight more specials? That seems like a lot, but then at the same time it would be really weird to do like four of them in the future, and then like four random other ones back in present day, to finish with.

I just watched Post Covid.

I'm kind of bummed that it ended on a cliff-hanger.

They did a good job of aging everyone for the show.

I'm still interested in what Cartman's angle is pretending to be happy with his Jewish family.

Oh, and the Broncos still suck.
