It also doesn't have to be bland - that is once again a sign of lacking skill in the cooking department. A lot of the things people think they know about cooking turkey is wrong. You should never stuff it or baste it. You should also look into marinades and seasonings for turkey. People tend not to since it's such a big bird, but you can add flavor. Also, as pointed out, dark meat, people.
