Mead 10/10/21 2:02:52 AM #3:	No Ive never heard of such an idea but it sounds like a bad idea. Rice being dry is what allows it to be stored safely. I wouldnt want to add moisture to it until Im cooking it. You can prewash prior to cooking to get rid of some of the starch before cooking but prewashing before you store it isn't recommended.
