I have a pair of Sennheiser noise canceling ones for my commute, and just some plain old earbuds for other times

I dunno. The brand is Artiste and they were cheap and have the jack on the right which is annoying because the jack on my laptop is on the left. I just wear them backwards but I haven't been able to invert the sound. When I'm playing a game, I just react to sounds of unseen things invertedly lol.

Some generic bluetooth ones. They work surprisingly well for generic cheapies, battery life could be a bit better (I get about 3 hours out of them on a full charge, was closer to 4 when they were new) but no complaints other than that.

they are decent for what they need to do: Wireless bluetooth, over-ear, <$100, Long battery life (80hour).

https://edifier-online.com/ca/en/headphones-earphones/w820bt-bluetooth-stereo

I used to have the W828nb but i stepped on em and they broke. Those were basically the same except they had less than half the battery life and an active noise cancellation toggle, which i didn't like. It would pick up really weird exterior frequencies. It'd deafen things like fans, but would amplify things like clipping your nails or the sound of washing dishes.

Have you used IEMs before? They typically isolate better than active noise cancelling headphones do. There are ANC IEMs out there but not sure well they work.
