I haven't seen her in anything else, to be fair, so my first judgement on her as an actress is the series. It was just the execution. Not spending enough time on the stories. My only worry is that, with how hard it apparently was to find a replacement showrunner when Moffat left, they may struggle even more now given that the show's stock has definitely plummeted over recent years - especially since the new team's first job will likely be the 60th anniversary celebration, which would be a baptism of fire. With falling ratings, far more negative fan reception and the sporadic scheduling keeping it from the public eye all meaning that the show isn't the cornerstone of BBC1 that it used to be, I'm a bit paranoid that they may use this as an excuse to quietly retire the series if a new production team proves too tricky to put together. The Doctor felt like just part of the ensemble in both her seasons so far rather than the main character (I'd say that Bradley Walsh felt like the lead in Jodie's first season, actually, and in the second - even though they weren't in it much - Sacha Dhawan and ~~Jo Martin~~ absolutely stole Jodie's thunder). Weirdly, for me the time when she was at her Doctoriest, and the only time that she felt like the actual star of the franchise, was when she put on the coat and made a quick video from her bedroom cupboard to reassure all the kids at home who were scared when the pandemic started. She was actually brilliant there. Like Trelve says, she got Colin'd. There was nothing worth watching for with her acting. People can say she is so great in all this other stuff, but that means nothing to me when she sucks in Doctor Who.
