Philoktetes 07/19/21 1:24:14 PM #1:	gen x was the last generation to produce unique art and music because they were trained in skills. our generation and beyond was trained to be activists. this is why the last good era of music ended with late gen x (like late indie 2008-ish). they were a generation of skilled people who cared more about making something good rather than regurgitating some crap a professor or comedy news told them. now, our generation just samples and emulates. it's crap. was just watching rick beato talk about how all pop music from the last 10+ years only uses 2-3 chords, has no variance with rhymn or key changes. and is just sooo boring predictable. compare that with anything pre 96 on the pop scene (all genres from rock to r&b) or anything indie pre-2008ish (there's still some good indie but it's becoming more rare with time) not sure it'll ever be fixed. was just watching boyz ii men and babyface who wrote the song. these guys are so talented. compare that to jonas brothers, it's so sad. --- I don't think so, Tim. ~~ Pizza Crew ~~ <cite>Philoktetes posted [p:956245978] in isn't it s...
