Of course it's not real, it's impossible.

If you begin to shoot from a point that originates behind the three point line but cross three point threshold in mid-air, it's still a three. Naturally it's the same for if you could manage to dunk it.

I would guess 3, since dunking has nothing to do with it; if you can get the ball into the hoop from behind the 3 point line, it should be 3 points.

on the other hand, you can actually do this in NBA Jam, and it's worth only 2 (even if you jump from the opposite end of the court). but probably because it's not actually difficult to perform in the game.

ya, I guess it doesn't have to be a literal dunk... it could be a layup - just as long as it 'would' have been a 3 pointer if you were stationary
