people think all animals or bugs for that matter are MALES as people often use he or him for every non-human species but people dont often refer to them as females and she..

But can you tell the difference between a male and female cat?

most ginger cats are male
most tortoiseshell cats are female
both of these cats are brindled/tabbys

while the word "tabby" is sometimes used for female cats, these are "tabby" by their markings which is unrelated to their sex

so to conclude, I have no idea

the only tell I'm aware of, that I'm not even sure about, is that the first cat has loose belly/groin skin, which I think is a result of having been spayed (ie: a female cat)

Supposedly testosterone makes a cats face grow wider, so since B has a fairly wide face he must be like the Leonardo Di Caprio of the feline world: a very attractive cat to the lady cats.

I had similar happen. They were too young to tell and the vet said they were male cats but both were female.

B looks more feminine somehow, but A has that haunch fur I associate more with female cats. Tough choice but... maybe A female, B male?
