Do we actually see any of those in the game? No. All we see from stamp is a still image on the wall. That's not a character. You literally want to let in a still image on a wall as a character.

to me its as cut and dry as are we going to let storyline fictional characters in or not?

I dont think we should, but I can see the argument. I dont think Stamp actually appearing in an animated video should matter.

(also, he totally sings in Stamps song, so we do at least hear him)

Uncle Sam is a character. Rosie the Riveter is a character. The Hun is a character.

Propaganda has always utilized characters to sell themselves. Stamp's place in FF7R adds so much - he gives so much insight to the city and Shinra as a company. He even has a fucking theme song.

Anybody who dabbles in media the tiniest bit can also tell you that a character is not limited to a 3D model of a thing. Gotham City is very much described as a character all the time.

Stamp is very easily and obviously a character, and is one of the main reasons that FF7R carries such a tone with it in terms of the relationship between Shinra and Midgar. Like, I get it if you haven't played the game and haven't made the connection, but for those of us who have, we can recognize him as a character.

His exclusion is arbitrary and frankly, it's kind of stupid that Stamp is not allowed in, but a random NPC who says 1 word would be allowed as long as they have a name.

Even if you don't like the way that it's done (And the fact that actual more blatant rallying happens much more often in the contest and doesn't go punished), Stamp is still a legitimate character and would have plenty of votes otherwise, even if you wanted to remove a bunch of them from that late night push for him.

Dark Nation was originally rejected because he didn't exist in the field, only within a battle; Stamp doesn't exist whatsoever.
