This is a dumb argument. Because you can sit in your own car. The contracting of COVID has been found when two people share the same space for a long period of time (CDC says within 6 ft for 15 minutes or more). Fast food is perfect for COVID.

... Is there even any evidence of covid transmission from fast food? I've yet to hear about it. If it's happened, it's got to be extremely rare.

Who thinks all fast food places are trash heaps? They're pretty good. You don't like burgers or burritos or anything? There's local fast food also to try, not just chains.

Who hasn't been outside to see restaurants are packed? They're even busier than pre-covid. Just driving around you can see that. I go out a few times a week and not just to restaurants. Been vaccinated, social distance, wear my mask.

Regular consumers of fast food are more likely to be obese so fa(s)t food Does have an effect on the severity of Covid as well as overall heath.

fa(s)t food is more likely to put you in the grave in more ways than covid.

these days even high end steak houses and restaurants that are not even chains do pick up.

plus it takes the same amount of time to grill or flame broil a chicken breast in my stove as it does to wait for some fried garbage at a fat food chain.

its not really any faster then is it? Just lower quality greasy garbage that has a higher marketing/franchise budget than your local butcher or supermarket.

Depends on what youre getting and from where. Some places are constantly cooking certain things during the day, meaning you may be able to get your food there quickly upon arriving. Theres also calling ahead. Especially if you call before leaving work or while doing other errands around time. Saving you time for whatever else you need to do. Also, if you dont have the ingredients, you wont have to go shopping. And if youre tired, you wont have to cook. And if youre bad cooking, it could still taste better. Or if youre bad at that particular. Even in some cases, if youre good at cooking, they can still make something taste different... All that said, its not always healthier at home, either. I know Ive made foods before where the same meal from a restaurant would have probably been healthier...

With so many restaurants closed this past year, hitting up a taco shop or burger place has basically been the go to if we aren't feeling up to cooking at home. Both the wife and I managed to not get covid, and as of a few days ago, are fully vaccinated.

Because people over-rate them. I like both, but really, Five Guys>In-N-Out, and the Spicy Chicken Bacon Asiago Ranch sandwich>almost anything at CFA.

People act like they are the be all, end all to their respective food types, and lol.
