As into black metal as I am, I'm actually not in any black metal groups on Facebook. There was one that I followed for a while I think because they had funny memes but I think they had a stipulation at the top that said something along the lines of "no right wing assholery tolerated"

Facebook's business model is designed to craft "safe spaces" or "echo chambers", recently mostly for the right wing (though not exclusively). So long as people avoid being confrontational, which threatens that model, they don't typically care what you post.

It's actually oddly a little bit different from Twitter, which is more prone to encouraging arguments I think.

This is just not true at all. I'm in a private group on Facebook where everyone is friendly 100% of the time and they delete the most benign shit all constantly. The old group actually got perma banned and we had to make a new one. This is a private group where everyone is on good terms and all that's ever posted is just like weird memes and inside jokes. Most of the time when a post gets Zuck'd nobody can figure out why. I think once you get on Facebook's radar, you have to pretty much walk on eggshells

I just hate people playing devils advocate over this shit. It's nothing personal. I adopt an aggressive attitude anytime someone tries to step in and say "well I haven't seen it so it must not exist!" It's just annoying and it causes real damage to real people.

And it upsets me because I live my life to try to be a true ally to POC and use my privilege in ways that I can. It hurts me because I connect empathetically to these real people who are hurt and killed by racist assholes and systemic racism for no reason other than they were born with the "wrong" skin color, culture, or sexual orientation. If you were an ally, you'd be upset too. You'd be upset about the millions of people with less privilege and that the powers to be do little to nothing to stop it and instead fan the fires and encourage it.

I highlighted these bits so I can give my insight here.
I work at a place where most everyone is Apolitical and they are all the happiest people I know. Frankly I've been striving to be more like them, for my own personal mental health. You can't change other people, so what you've been engaging in is completely pointless and I really feel you're only hurting yourself in the long run.
I think a reasonable person would just see this situation as 2 parties who are bitter in their personal lives, wasting time dedicating mental resources to this drama instead of spending their time making their own lives better.
You claim it's "nothing personal" but you're dedicating so much of your personal time into it, even making a topic on Gamefaqs about it.
I think what this says is that these people you're arguing with have already bested you because you're the one obsessing about it. Take that away from them. Let these people waste their lives being racist and never being able to find comfort and happiness because they feel they have to constantly shitpost on Facebook and subsequently never get closure for their personal hatred. Be better than that.

"Apolitical" isn't a real thing. It's just a weight of how much contentment with your own situation can counteract having to face harsh realities. Well that works for some people but many people do not have a good situation, and they couldn't avoid harsh realities even if they wanted to. Plus even if you only care about your own situation, you have to be really delusional (or super rich) to look at it and be like, yeah, this really is the best we can do. I want things to get better for others and I think it can be done while making them better for me too! But it does require seeing some ugly truths.
