Women are just as likely as men to commit domestic abuse, but because our feminist culture has indoctrinated people into believing that it's okay for women to hit men but not the other way around, it's now at the point where men aren't even allowed to defend themselves against physical abuse from a woman. If a man tries to defend himself against such abuse society would suddenly view him as the abusive one.

It's probably true that domestic abuse of women on men isn't taken as seriously as it should be, but if we are honest on average a male domestic abuser is likely to cause more harm and pose a bigger threat.

Yes, men are also victims of domestic abuse, but if anything is that very same toxic masculinity that makes them feel less of man for being the victim and for the cops to sometimes not take it as seriously (and sometimes just laugh out to their faces).

I think it's bad for both sides to define the other side by their worst elements.

Women absolutely can participate in toxic masculinity. An upset boy being told men don't cry is toxic masculinity being perpetuated whether it's his father or mother saying it.

I think there are a lot of women out there that are sexist, maybe not on steal your rights level, but a general dislike of men. Im not going to compare this to some of the dark challenges women face in society, but just from listening to women talk on TikTok when my girlfriend is watching leads me to believe women are just as frustrated with men as men are with them.

There is sexism against males. Your example is probably rare. Actual common sexism:

1. You cant cry because you are man
2. You cant be scared
3. You must give your seat to a woman, let them go first when entering a place or open the door for them.
4. You are frowned upon if you see a girl struggling to carry something heavy and you dont help.
5. Men should look look "masculine". I.e. be buffed, have a beard or you suck.
6. Men should be the ones proposing to their single other
7. Men need to repair everything that breaks on the house/car.
8. Men should lend their coat or umbrella to a woman when necessary.

And other things, ofc there are exceptions but most of the people expect the above from men.
