Shit sucked hard for the first day and a half but I'm lucky comparatively. Have had rolling blackouts since yesterday evening. Water slowly started coming back throughout the day today. Still under boil water notice though.

Something really shit the bed with natural gas; this wasn't some failing of one sector but multiple. It was the main power sources buckling that led to crisis; windmills and solar crapping the bed were icing on the cupcake.

I got power back around 10pm and still have it I'll check with my friends later on. Some didn't have any trying to figure out if it's still bring rotated

I was able to find a lot of water at Lowes. I bought 4 packs of water bottles. Not sure what area of Texas you're in, but maybe check at Lowe's or Home Depot.

My power is still on since last night, but I still have no water. I'm kinda confused about my water being out.

On Tuesday night, I got a text from my apartment complex that a pipe burst somewhere in the building and they had turned water off because of it. Wednesday morning I called to get an update and they said they would be working on it. Then today they're saying they're sending plumbers out for people who still don't have water.

I still have no water and I'm really confused. Is it because of the cold air or something. Is it like the storm? I will continue to try to deduce these random happenings.

Edit: Just got a coffee from Dunkin Doughnuts and took a crap.

If there hasn't been a real thaw then you could still have frozen pipes.
I had a burst pipe once but still had running water.....until, that part of the line thawed out.
I was shaving after a shower, and at the last minute, I lost all water, and could hear it running in the basement. All my water is effectively on the same line.
I have since set up some turn-off valves.

I learned that these kind of places carry bottled water at the start of the pandemic, and the price to oz ratio is pretty good too. Places like best buy have been known to carry water as well, but be ready to pay out the nose for it.

I genuinely can't understand why someone would willingly waste their time in an endeavor they find absolutely absurd. Then again, I'm not a CE regular, and for all I know, this could be typical monkey brain behavior around these parts.

Oh I didn't catch that. My bad.

But ya, I've been there with no heat and frozen pipes.
In fact, the blower motor for my main furnace is broke as we speak, so by in large I am without heat outside of my immediate living spaces. There is a remote thermometer I have in the basement that I keep next to my pipes, right now it reads 32 degrees. It hasn't hit above freezing here in several weeks.

Septic tank converter was able to charge my car and my phone to about 80 percent each, and then malfunctioned and splattered sewage all over the front of my neighbor's house.

I spent all day yesterday creating a vaccum to suck up the sewage from all the nearby houses to use for my converter.

Since it is their own fecal matter, they recognized their own brand and never suspected me.

I can either stay in this garage with my gas mask, or venture out in search of survivors. Might stop and get a coffee.

Urgent fucking news.

I've been at work for the past 24 hours avoiding a new being that was created from all of the absorbed sewage in my Tesla's septic tank converter.

Assmodius.

Assmodius was created through the fusion of my entire neighborhood's fecal matter. He is a lean, mean, killing machine. Except he is made out of shite.

At first I tried to outrun him with my car but Assmodius absorbed the sewage from my septic tank converter and now my car has no gas. I've been out running him on foot and hiding to rest for the past 24 hours. At times a cold breeze will blow and slow Assmodius down but it is not enough...

For now I am working on my home made vacuum (a bunch of red solo cups duct taped together and a store-bought vaccum combined) to find a way to increase its power so that I can absorb Assmodius and be able to post on Gamefaqs again.
